Very disappointed with the customer service at Walmart. I wanted to buy an item from a locked shelf. There was a barcode to scan for employee assistance, so I scanned it, but it said all employees were busy and asked me to find someone myself.nI looked around for about 5 minutes and couldn’t find anyone. When I finally found an employee, he was polite and helpful even though he was already working on something else. He came with me and made an announcement on the microphone asking for assistance.nI waited near the locked shelf for another 15 minutes, but no one showed up. Eventually, I gave up waiting and went to the counter to pay for the items I already had. During this time, I saw 3–4 employees walking around, not really busy, just moving around the store.nThe system for getting help clearly doesn’t work, and the lack of response was frustrating. Customer service seriously needs improvement.
Worst customer service you will experience in any supermarket or shop in Corner Brook. They will never help you to find a product. They will say” I do not know, I have no idea, what is in the shelf is all we have, we do not issue rain checks “and lot more. They will not even direct us to a person in the relevant department. The staff in customer service and the two person at the door who greets are the only staff I found friendly.nnThe other staff specially ladies in the self checkout acts like we did a crime coming to shop at walmart. Not even a simple smile to greet their customers. I was waiting almost two years from the very first day came to shop at this store to write this review. Now I have enough experience and I think it is fair to write it. These people should learn customer service ethics from Kent, Colemans and Sobeys like stores here!n..........nnReply to the Store as I do not want to callnnI am rewriting as I cannot reply to the reply from the store.nnInform all the staff to be pleasant to customers. If they cannot greet, atleast a nice smile. If a customer ask for a product which is not his/ her department, ask them to direct customer to a colleague who works in that relavant department instead of saying IDK, not my department etc.nnSpecially for the ladies who work in self checkout, frawning at customers advice them to greet as the customers are leaving the store after paying their products. I hope 90% of the customers will agree with this . They are the face of your store. Recently they have recruited a nice pleasent man who really knows what customer service is.nnAll other stores here, greet the customers, welcome them and give a nice smile. But sorry to say, your store is way behind. Send them to stores like Kent, Colemans to learn how they treat their customers!!!
Wonderful place to shop and amazing customer service. What are you doing if your not shopping at Wal Mart?
Walmart itself was fine but don't buy their Oster juicers unless you like eating plastic. Major design flaw with their upright juicers. Had one replaced and have the same problem.
Easy to find, lots of parking, decent selection of clothing, the food/snacks section was a little under stocked for some reason, staff were pleasant, easy to use self check out with short wait
