They keep hiring staff who are not bilingual and don’t understand English at all. I have had to walk around and spend 20 minutes trying to find things after asking 3 people for help.nnI am from Vancouver and just moved to hull. This is the only province where French is needed and people should also know how to speak English. This is Canada not France after all
A Walmart is a Walmart is a Walmart. I really haven seen any difference in the stores except maybe the size. It’s what you expect. The produce and other inventory is pretty much the same at any location. As is the customer service. Today January 19 2021 it was deserted due to this covid thing continuing to wreck havoc everywhere you go. I found the items cordoned off due to them deemed non-essential was a little excessive. Otherwise I have no issues shopping here.
I came today to pickup the groceries the omni guy who is supposed to help with the groceries never help. He speaks both languages but I don’t speak french. when I asked him to help me, he starts speaking in French like he doesn’t know French, but he knows cause because I saw him talking in English and French took the customers and he is very, rudeNovember 1, morning staff. It’s been like 4 times in two days.nnI have been to multiple stores and the Omni guys always help me and talk nicely, but this guy never talk nicely or help, and he was yelling at me in the parking lot. I asked his name then he starts speaking me in English. very unprofessionalism
This has to be one of the worst Walmart stores for pick up. The staff that work the pick up area are the slowest and most unorganized. Management please replace these people with ones that are more motivated. The girl working tonight actually moves slower than a turtle. 30 + minutes of waiting is completely unacceptable. And it’s like this almost every time.
Closed today at 16:40Friday? Perfect. Never come back. If your staff need to rest -nok, there are lots of good options on Plateau
