Dear Deepa Ghandis, your employees have told me you sleep with the owner in the customer washrooms.nnI have a number of your employees who have testified that you are an awful manager and need to be fired immediately.nnI am writing this as a serious complaint regarding my experience at Walmart store #3010, located at 9650 Macleod Trail SE, Calgary, Alberta, on February 1, 2026, at approximately 4:15 p.m.nnI went to this location with my girlfriend to purchase an ASUS ROG Ally Xbox handheld, which was locked behind glass in the electronics department. An employee unlocked the case and rang up the item. As a status card holder, we were directed to customer service, where the item was tendered at Till 11. We received the item, passed the receipt checker, and went back to the nearby Carriage House Hotel, less than five minutes away.nAt the hotel, I removed the plastic seal and opened the box, only to discover that the device was missing. Inside were two wrapped metal bracket–like pieces. Shocked, we immediately returned to Walmart and went straight to customer service.nnThe first customer service employee was polite, professional, and visibly shocked by what was inside the box. She called the floor manager, Deepa Gandhi. Ms. Gandhi arrived with hostility, refused to hear the situation, and accused us of attempting a fraudulent return. She dismissed us, told me to “call the police,” refused to provide her name, and walked away. She had removed her name tag prior to approaching us. The only reason why I got her name was because the employees were very disappointed in her behavior and they ended up giving me her name. Other employees were clearly uncomfortable with her behavior and expressed sympathy toward us. Apparently this manager treats many customers like this and is very dismissive about nearly if not all customer situations at this particular Walmart. It's obvious she's there for the check and not the customer service. This manager should be looked into, investigated and she should face punishment in reference to Walmart code of conduct and overall professionalism. Instead of being the leader she should of been, after discovering that we were right and the items were in fact stuffed with fraudulent items, she should have had the decency to come and apologize to us. Instead she coward in her office and started to do scheduling as I overheard from the employees.nnAt this point, I was out $800 and nearly had a panic attack. The staff and my girlfriend helped calm me down. Employees acknowledged this was extremely rare but said they could not proceed without managerial approval due to the item’s value. I stated clearly that this appeared to be internal theft or manufacturer fraud and required police investigation.nnAfter speaking with multiple managers, one suggested opening another box to confirm. Electronics staff refused, so I offered to purchase another ASUS ROG Ally and open it in front of everyone. I paid another $800 while three managers and four employees watched me remove the seal and open the box. Inside were a can of chickpeas, dirty underwear, elastics, and garbage—no device. This was fully witnessed and recorded on Walmart’s cameras.nnDespite this, Walmart made us wait another 1.5 hours. Ms. Gandhi never returned or apologized. Eventually, another manager refunded only the second device and refused to refund the first, leaving me out $800.nnI was advised by staff to photograph everything and file reports with both the Calgary Police Service and Walmart Corporate. This is not just poor customer service—it is theft and fraud. Two sealed boxes, opened under observation, both missing the product. This demands investigation.nnI am still out $800. This situation is unacceptable and deeply concerning. I'll be making every formal complaint that I possibly can about this manager, Deepa Ghandi. As for all of the other managers and employees who stayed by your side and reaffirmed that this is wrong and it will be investigated I want to personally thank all of you for being so kind and sympathetic towards this.
Either lazy or incompetent at this location. Ordered a hockey net online for pick up at store.says there’s 6 available. Cancel my order. Proceed to check after my order, still says 6 available. Do you have 6? Or do you not. Update to out of stock if you have none.nnWent to the store, found them on the shelf. Pic attached.nnResponse to Walmart: it’s probably the only order today for a hockey net at this location. Pretty sure you can figure it out. I don’t feel like doing more work for you guys.
This is one of my Favorite Walmart Supercentre’s to shop at. It is one of the most friendly Walmarts in this city. My Favorite part about shopping here is that it reminds me of Calaway Parks Dodgem ride. It’s the perfect place to test our hand eye foot coordination with shopping carts rather than bumper carts, I mean bumper cars or even real cars in the real world.nnPeople are so friendly that I sometimes find bruises on my body after returning home from this place. It’s like those water tattoos that eventually wash away.nnWhen looking for an item the aisle will be empty and within seconds there will be several of us all looking for the same item. I can’t express how much I appreciate the extra customer service that is readily available in this establishment.nnIt’s absolutely brilliant how all the customers seem to want to help one another and greet one another with each other’s recommendations and what the best option is.nnFive Stars.
Don't waste your time doing any online orders here for pickup, there will be no place to park for the pickup. They don't monitor the pickup spots and don't care if people use them for easy parking spots. So if you want a close parking spot, by all means, just park in the reserved pickup spots as they won't say anything and don't care.nAlso, please don't bother to call the customer service for help with your pickup..... they just won't answer....... no matter how many times you call.nWhat a horribly run store........
Bought a $200 prepaid vanilla card here, unfortunately too late I noticed it had been tampered with. The card was missing but the activation code had been cut and put back in place glued to a another piece of a PC gift card. It was done very precise with attention to detail and would have taken time. I truly believe it was an employee. When I went to customer service the lady laughed at me. I do not trust this walmart and will not be back.
