Above average Walmart experience. This location is genuinely spotless, the floor plan is logical, and team members are knowledgeable and kind. This entire stores’ vibe is less hectic than what I am used to in big box retailers, and is definitely where I will return to shop in Calgary. Not as extensive of a selection as some other locations, but there was nothing we wanted that we couldn’t find here.
It's not a very good Walmart, had never has the things that you would want. It is smaller than most Walmarts, but it is convenient for quick groceries and other day-to-day items. I like the staff that work there oh, they are knowledgeable and there it is rarely a big lineup. For the size of Walmart it is I am actually impressed, they try to make it as good as a big Walmart.
Compared to most Walmart’s in Calgary this one is substantially smaller. Which makes it easier to get around but there is way less products. I had gone to this store specifically for a item that would definitely be in another branch but to my dismay was not there. Which I guess is to be expected. One of the employees there was walking around mask-less touching the products.
Best Walmart in the south. Clean, well stocked with essentials. Checkout is a breeze. They actually direct you to open registers. Staff, believe it or not, are exceptionally polite and accommodating. They will even smile at you! But keep this a secret, ok? I drive across town just to shop there.
Super small Walmart. Reminds me of the one in Yellowknife. Barry in the Electronic section was great to talk to. Super friendly and very outgoing. Keep up the good work Barry! Otherwise the store was clean and pretty well organized. Surprised with how much stuff they pack in this little location.
It is a small location. If you don't set your expectations too high, you won't be disappointed. That said, I often have very good luck finding items that other locations are sold out of. Customer service wise, it is Walmart so again don't set your hopes too high.
In 5min walking through the store today I noticed TWO unmasked employees amist being over a year into the pandemic, everyone knowing to mask up in public places and with variant cases literally soring in Calgary. I asked the young fella at customer service if it was store policy for employees to wear a mask. Reply was yes. However he gave No apology, No explanation as to why, No I will look into this, just have a nice day... REALLY! Probably a good thing this location is closing. To the young lady in the home dept and the old gal sauntering down center isle unmasked I sincerely hope you lose your employment when the store closes. Neither of you should be working with the public.
This store has VERY poor customer service!!! We were looking for a car seat for our grandson and the staff could not help us at all. One employee started to help us and then half way through he just walk away? They couldn't even figure out what the prices were? It's upsetting to go into a store looking to buy something as a car seat on a Saturday and get next to nothing help. I just don't understand why the managers don't read our reviews and talk to there staff and tell them that you are here to serve the customers. Bottom line... This store lacks customer service. Unless you're going to buy bannans ... Do the bother visiting this Walmart!!!!
Went to buy a mirror, rang up at a higher price than tag. They sent an associate to look, she came and no tag there. I went back with her, showed her where it was in front of matching mirrors I was buying, the plastic had been messed with and tag gone. Other person with me also saw the tag. Suspicious that the tag went missing within 5 minutes of me picking the mirror off the shelf when there was still a stack left. Guess I have to start taking pictures of items I plan on buying.
I would give this store 3 stars but I am giving THIS Walmart 4 stars because there is NEVER a lineup. It is always so dead! They carry a fraction of what a larger store would, but still has pretty much anything you need.
