Friendly enough, peaceful enough, after parking on the far left side out of the way. Laid down to read before sleep and was interrupted with some noise outside. Not to worry- -it was only a crazy person throwing everything out of his live-in car. Looked out an hour later and everything was back in the car- barbecue, clothes, junk-- and he was gone! So if you can handle it, this is not only your typical free Walmart overnight RV parking lot, but you may get some entertainment thrown in for free! :
What can you say about Walmart that hasn't already been said. They had the salt for the sidewalks, the dog shampoo for Bosco, the socks for me and anything and everything else I could've ever needed or wanted.
Store is in DESPERATE NEED of new management! Current management is either burnt out or just going threw the motions. Personally I have yet to see a Walmart with such a lazy store manager that cares so little about his customer service! " It doesn't matter if you're on the clock, off the clock, or checking out your own groceries. If you are the store manager and something is going on that needs your attention...... You signed up for the role and are always on call! So to sit there and blatantly ignore a big situation and try to discreetly ring out and bail.... it's just pure laziness. If You signed up for the role as the store manager it is your store. take some pride, most store managers care that it's their face on the board!
Meet Austin, He has exceptional customer service skills. He sat on the phone with Verizon for 45 ish minutes to help me with my phone all the while helping Walmart customers which is far outside his job duties. Thanks Austin, the 13 pro max is awesome.
Usually Walmart Supercenter in Ponderay is a great place to go to get in and out quickly but once in awhile I've been there around shift change at 5:00 p.m. when they're super busy and there's only one cashier Line open and 50 people needing to check out and I actually yelled out what everybody wanted to say which was can we open up another cash register please loud enough for everybody to hear and I laughed! Sometimes you just have to do what you feel without being abusive of course although the cashier did not appreciate me doing that and was kind of snotty but what do you expect for someone who's overworked and the only cashier available for the entire freaking store. I was told to wait 15 to 30 minutes and grocery shop while they printed a photo. It ended up taking 1.5 hours!...it took so long we had to change out our refridgerated and frozen products that we shopped for after we ordered it. I finally had to ask what was up after sitting there for an hour. The employees were too busy talking yes talking, it wasnt busy to even remember we were there. One employee finally realized the paper was out and it was never printing to begin with. They set it up and say 15 minutes so we waited again only to figure out they forgot to click "change paper" on the computer and what took 5 minutes, literally ended up taking about 90 minutes.
I've never seen anything like it. I had a return and had my receipt but apparently that didn't matter... I had purchased my item at another store but returned it to Sandpoint because it just happened to be were I was. The item kept coming up as not in the system yet I had my receipt and the UPS numbers matched. The customer service clerk refused to do the return. What's the point of keeping your receipt if they don't honor them anyway. Very disappointing.
Super busy. Organic items were more limited than post falls. Also, online shoppers had carts in the way on several isle and were oblivious to shoppers trying to shop. Finally, couldn’t find an item and when asked clerk she said “well we must not have it.” She never asked someone to check. Poor customer service! Disappointing.
Never can find a handicap parking space when needed. I'm oxygen dependent and had to park furthest away. I guess its better for me anyways. Not!
I always enjoy shopping at this store. It's always clean and organized. The only thing that I dislike is how many other people are shopping at the same time. It's usually always crowded with people.
