Wally's Barber Shop

Went in to buy a 1/2 tub of ice cream. The guy was 3/4 the way done filling it when some other guy appeared and said its too hard to scoop and to grab the half tub out from the freezer. Meanwhile the 1st guy had enough scooped to fill the container the rest of the way. They wouldn't sell me the new stuff claiming it's to hard to scoop but had 3/4 full already and enough scooped up on top of the pail to fill rest of the way.I said I wanted fresh ice cream and not old ice cream that they didn't even know how long it sat in the bottom of freezer for! I can't believe I was denied buying fresh ice cream! After being a loyal customer for 20 years I don't think I will return for any of my normal purchases.

I’ve been going to wallys mini mart since I was a kid. My dad would take us there for ice cream and it always felt like a special occasion. Now I take my kids there and enjoy the way their eyes light up when I say we are going for ice cream. The service is always warm and friendly. The employees always remember my name even though I can’t remember theirs lol. 5 stars best service and ice cream in Alberta.

This is my favorite local neighborhood store. I go for coffee, snacks, candy, even ice cream in the summer - they've got pretty much everything. Super friendly and helpful people working here.
