Overall I try not to leave bad reviews. But I’ve called management and no one returned my call. I booked a birthday dinner for 20 people over a month in advanced. The week of the dinner I talked to someone twice about the menus. I was told the two menus would be available. When my party go there we had one server for 20 ppl. She was sweet and trying so hard. When we got there I was told we could only order from the Valentine’s Day menu. But Wednesday and Thursday I was told about to two menus. No problem we order. Some of my party order the couple Valentine’s that came with the 3 courses and a drink. We didn’t receive our drinks or dessert. I call the speak to the manager but got someone from the hotel. Told to have them people call to review the bill which I did. I left my number and the name of my other party guess. When I called I explained that I thought I wait was just a little overwhelmed with no help. We helped her clean up the private room we had off to the side. As we were helping and went to ask a question. We heard the bartender and other staff talking about us. Overall I wouldn’t recommend just based off of the service. The food wasn’t good either. I had to send my plate back twice for a medium well steak.
I come to Muskegon about every other week and have stayed at the Delta many times. I ate at the restaurant a couple times in 2022 and would have given it 2 stars. I decided to give it another try 2 weeks ago and have to compliment the chef for recreating the menu. 2 meals in a row that were fantastic. Had the salmon last time and the wagyu burger this time. Well designed and executed. Maybe prices are a few bucks higher than going to outside restaurant, but worth the convenience. Waitress was wonderful too!
Just want to start off by saying what a great night drinks and dinner with the wife. Our waitress Bella was absolutely amazing what ever we needed she provided. What a great waitress absolutely awesome. Highly recommend your restaurant for dinner and drinks. Awesome experience will return to Muskegon again soon.
Got drinks and appetizers with my sister tonight and had a lovely experience. The restaurant decor and atmosphere is so nice and clean, and our bartender, Courtney, was really friendly and attentive. Definitely making it a point to stop in more often!
Had thanksgiving dinner here this year. Everything about the meal was fantastic. The taste and serving sizes were perfect! When I say perfect I’m talking large servings! Service was very good and friendly. This was our first time eating here and already looking forward to a return visit! Very impressed!!
I’m not a fan of this new menu. I’ve raved about their French Dip I’ve gotten in October and November. It’s not on the new menu nor are some other items which seemed like such a hit. If you want Duck, Hen, Rabbit or Mussels, you just might love the new menu. I’m also not sure they have a kids menu and if they don’t it’s not a place to bring your family. I appreciate the new Chef putting his stamp on things but maybe they should have looked at what sold really well first and kept some of those items on there. I did ask the waitress if the French dip on the menu was like the one before and she said yes. It wasn’t at all. Nothing like it. Very sad and disappointed. Spent $81 on a French Dip, a burger, shrimp cocktail and one beer. Ouch!
It looked promising from the pictures and reviews, but we left with mixed feelings. Our server didn't seem to know the menu at all. My Halibut was OK, all other mealgoers said it felt like day old food rewarmed up. There was a very thick dark hair in one of the meals. Food prices were just far too high for the quality we were given. Tequila cocktail was good. No music playing... The vibe just felt lacking. Doors to the bathroom and the entry to the hotel were very sticky and dirty. I wouldn't go back again...
Unfortunately, the system made me leave at least one star. The staff was drinking on the job, making fun of customers and belittling ownership & management. The kitchen was closed and free pizza was brought into the lobby. The bar staff called the police to remove anyone eating the free pizza. While the police arrived, the bartender joined her table of friends who were vaping in the bar. It is sad to see such a nice property being run so poorly. There are several great places within walking distance, be sure to visit those as they will welcome and appreciate your business.
1. The flavors and tastes were spot on on the prime rib and crème brûlée. 2. The six orders of prime our party ordered were all cut equally except one which was cut uneven and 1/8” on on end and 1/2” on the other. The manager corrected the problem and thank you. 3. The crème brûlée had an excellent flavor and taste. It should have been served at room temp and not chilled and the crust needed to be flamed just before serving and not before it was put into the refrigerator. The roasted potatoes were too over done and mushy. The need to be roasted at a higher temp for a shorter period of time. The asparagus needs to to grilled and finished with Montreal Steak seasoning. 4. The featured cocktails were GREAT! 5. Our server, Kristi , was FANTASTIC, she was polite, helpful and served us great! She needs a bonus! Thanks, Bruce Sent from my iPhone
Great food and service but we were the only customers on a Tuesday afternoon. Our salads were huge and quite filling. Overall it was a nice experience.Food: 5/5
