I was a bit reluctant to go here due to so many bad reviews, but Bethesda was not taking walk-ins and I did not know anywhere else I could go here in Steinbach. I started calling right at 9am, and as expected, could not get through at all in first 10 minutes. I then just waited and tried at 9:30am. Got through to someone almost immediately. The person who answered was great. You could "hear" the smile on her face, and she was a good combination of clinical and friendly as she requested my info. Got a 4:45 pm in person appointment. Doctor was mostly clinical in their interaction with me, which was fine. He poked and prodded, asked questions, and finally explained the issue and what would have to happen next a referral to a surgeon.
Came here to see what other patients experienced with Dr. Tai Nygeyn and it just confirmed it all. Management please please do something, listen to patients complaints take this "wanna be doctor" away from this clinic. knowledge is zero, extremely Rude and rough to Patients. If you're a patient and need to see a doctor don't go here to experience the same. Dr. Tai Nygeyn Is not here to help, not even a little bit. he is just here for his big pay cheque. Horrible Experience. Time for Humen Rights department to get involved.
I came on this website to see what kind of reviews The Oasis Medical Clinic have posted after having a very frustrating experience with Dr. Tai Nygeyn. Seems my experience is very similar to what I'm reading from many of the other reviews. He was rude, didn't feel like he wanted to listen to what I had to say concerning my issue I was there to see him about, and it just seemed like he was working hard to usher me out the door rather than listening to my concerns about my knee. I wont be returning to this clinic because I was very dissatisfied with the lack of care and compassion you'd expect from a trained medical provider. It's not the first experience I've had with this particular doctor either. I have to honestly say that this is one of the main reasons I try to avoid seeking medical help because I know what to expect. Had he taken just a moment to listen instead of seemingly being rushed, he understand the individual care required. By posting this I only hope to have other future patients not feel like they are an annoyance or an inconvenience.
If there was a an option for negative rating, i will it. They really don't care for your health. Indeed, they dont even pretend to care for your health. Staff is irresponsible, doctor never calls you if you book for phone appointments. In person appointments are terrible. Doctor is rude. Does not take time to listen to your concerns. He moved my head very abruptly and forcefully to examine my ears. first time a doctor did this to me, as if i was a chicken ready to get slaughtered. I felt more sick coming out of that terrible clinic than when I was at home. They care for their floor getting wet more than your health. I was told multiple times to remove my shoes to enter the clinic because of my dripping boots in winter. Take off your boots in Canada, during winter season? For real? Please! Don't go there.
I am so incredibly impressed with the staff at Oasis. Every time I have gone in, I have been treated with respect and care. They have prioritized mine and my childrens needs. Quick and easy in and out.
Awful experience. Doctor yells at you on phone only wanting yes or no answers, cannot understand a word he is saying. Would NOT recommend anyone to deal with this type of treatment. Absolutely terrible experience.
Do not go here. The Dr Tai is very rude, not professional at all. I had a boil /sore above my lip and showed him, and had my mask down so he could see. I then proceeded to talk and didn't lift it back up. He was more concerned for my mask over my nose than anything. So I fixed it and he said over your nose, and i said it is over my nose! More concerned for my mask on my face than what I was there for. Do not go here go to a different walk in clinic. Next time I'm definitely going somewhere else! Don't waste your time here. We were talking and I showed him the boil/sore again and he rudely said "I don't need to see it again, I already saw it"! Seriously just so rude and like I said cares more about the mask than anything.. . A old gentleman was next and he said the same thing to him too mask over your nose. Instead of wasting your breath saying it, just treat your patients so they can leave as quickly as possible. Steer clear of this place!
Dr. Tai Nguyen is very rude, interrupts whenever you try and speak. Doesn't seem to know medicine very well if at all which is incredibly concerning given his position at the clinic. He couldn't answer a simple question about my sprained ankle. Honestly from what he said, it almost feels as though I know more than him. His worst attribute would be his bedside manner. He rolls his eyes, interrupts and is downright unpleasant. I was in his office for less than 5 minutes, asking him about the progress of my ankle a week and a half after my sprain. He literally said "you tell me" after I asked him if it's healing normally. I didn't say anything in fact I kind of was lost for words. I thought maybe he didn't understand me so I tried my question again and pointed at my ankle asking if the swelling was normal and before I could finish my sentence he interrupted me and then repeated himself by asking me to tell him if it was normal. I got nothing from my visit, I tried to explain to him that I had to update workers compensation at that point he interrupted me again and then told me a bunch of useless information about light duties which I am well aware of and I told him that I'm a truck driver there's no such thing as light duties. I knew going to this walk-in clinic was going to be hit and miss. I've lived in town since 2014 and I've been to this clinic quite a few times with my kids etc always crossing my fingers that I do not get this doctor because he is absolutely the worst. I'm a bigger guy so I'm very much aware of my weight, as I was leaving he very rudely said "you need lose weight" he said it loud enough for the whole clinic to hear, so not only was that humiliating but just so unprofessional. Anyway I have thick skin so I didn't really think much of it but I definitely feel as though that is worth mentioning here.
I have been traumatized by this new Doctor. I was yelled at and allowed to only answer “yes” or “ no” and someone who came to Steinbach because of safety . Someone who found courage to leave unsafe situation I was very very discouraged discouraged to ask questions when I have concern I avoid going to Doctors because the “ new Doctor “ as the receptionist refers to him “ one who is hard to understand” Terrible experience and should not work with patients if he hates his profession. I was happy because I needed a new Doctor here and He was the only one excepting new patients . Very sad
In short don't go here ! Drive to urgent care...I'm formally going to complain to the medical association and wallmart for having such a horrible clinic in there building. Doctor was rude and won't listen to your concerns...secretary is like a robot....was told to call back for results and all she could say is sorry we are full...not even a care in here voice....told her I was told to call for results 24h after my test and she just kept on saying sorry were full call back tomorrow..... If I end up being even more sick due to this I will resort to legal cause no one should have to be treated like this .... I'm so happy my phone records phone calls...
