There were some issues getting my sons prescription, but Nancy I think that was her name the Pharmacy Tech went out of her way to ensure my very sick son got his meds before she left for the night. Thank you sweet angel.
This place is always disaster. So rude. So mean. Always avoids trying to help if there are issues. They are rude when you call if they answer. They always say they are so busy yet when you come nobody is there. They don’t want to work. The customer service is 0 completely! If you can’t be professional and kind work somewhere where you don’t have to dea with people
The pharmacist is rude and always has an attitude just because I call and ask a question.. If you don't like your job get a new one there's plenty of people hiring.
Very unprofessional! My 2 sons and I have been here 2x now to TRY to get our flu vaccine. 1st time- waited in long line just to be told they were out of the flu vaccine and was told to make an appointment and come back. 2nd attempt- set an appointment online and received confirmation. When we arrived to the pharmacy for our appointment it was closed!!! The note they had posted said it was due to staffing issues! I spoke to the manager and while I agree that the staffing issue is out of their control a substitute that was supposed to be there quit but that fact that the manager stated "he was going to call everyone but didn't" really makes no sense! They should have a better system in place. I should have been notified. I wasted my time and my gas to drive there.....a 2nd time!!!! Gas ain't cheap these days...nothing is! So now with our work schedules and the holidays, I don't know when we will be getting our flu vaccine! I can say.....it WILL NOT BE SCHEDULED AT THIS PHARMACY AGAIN!
It's true said my prescription would be ready at 5:45 came in to get it waited for 20 min to be told it would not be ready until the next day. Came in the next day pulled up to one car in the drive through and have already been waiting for 20 min and they haven't even helped them yet. You need to get some employees working here this is awful. Changing any prescription to a different location. Employees are very nice obviously overwhelmed. Trying to get the right prescription because the Dr called it in wrong. The man that was obviously in charge was talking so low I could barely hear him explaining that they were not going to fill it because the prior meds were called in wrong. He said did you not listen to what I just told you? Wow how disrespectful can you be. I now know why they have no employees. Never again will I go to Walgreens for anything except these meds because they are not covered anywhere else and definitely will make sure it is not at this location.
I go here for scripts on occasion for convenience for short term scripts that I don't mail order but I have to say I've never had a problem on the retail side but this pharmacy has got to be the slowest, understaffed Walgreens pharmacy I've ever been to. They need an exorbitant amount or time to even fill a simple antibiotic. The pharmacy manager customer service skills and personality leave little to be desired as well and I read he has worked for them for 20 years. He was very rude to my 71 year old mother once and I've never forgotten it. As long as your not in a hurry and have no problems I'm sure you'll be fine. If I had to fill here more frequent I would switch to Epler Ave location. He reminds me of an IT person who is monotone and has no people skills. Sad because I'm sure he is paid quite well.
I usually come to this Walgreens pharmacy to get medication for my kids. My daughters doctor called in a prescription to this pharmacy for us to pick up. This was an emergency doctors appointment and my daughter was in pain so I was looking forward to going thru the drive thru and picking up the prescription on my way home and getting my daughter settled and comfortable at home. I go to the drive up pharmacy and the pharmacy tech just gave me a weird look and said it wasn’t ready. I was prepared to wait on it but she said it would not be ready till 5:00. That’s inconvenient. We went back to the pharmacy at 5:30 and still my prescription had not even been processed. Again my daughter is in pain and needs this prescription. We waited and watched them fill a bottle of antibiotics for my daughter and it took 10 minutes. Why wasn’t this done the first time I came to the pharmacy?The prescription said waiting so they had not processed it. If I had not gone back I don’t think it would have been filled at all. I don’t feel confident using this pharmacy at all. Again I’m not sure why the prescription could not be filled if I’m already there willing to wait. Communication at this pharmacy isn’t good.
Pharmacy staff is friendly enough, but they are consistently out of stock for my prescription. Do not recommend, will be switching to some where else.
This is the worst walgreen’s in Indiana. Pharmacy staff is incompetent, rude and ignorant about their jobs. When trying to receive my grandma’s medications that she has had filled here for years, they claim she has no insurance on file and want her to pay full price. They refuse to listen to the fact she’s had she medications there for years. They’re incredibly rude and clearly should be in a different profession. I would never recommend this Walgreen’s pharmacy for anyone.
My daughters doctor called in her prescription to this pharmacy and my daughter didn’t know our insurance changed so she had Cvs do a transfer for her or at least try to, the cvs pharmacy called this Walgreens 4 times to get it transferred while my daughter was in pain with a kidney infection. Finally Cvs calls me to tell me to call her doctor directly to have it transferred over, my daughter is 18 and doesn’t live with me and I wasn’t aware of the situation or I would of done it earlier. I want to say maybe their understaffed since no one wants to work these days or they’re just terrible.
