Wow, you would think after several months of poor reviews for the pharmacy department, they would've hired more staff. That is not the case. I understand peak times will create a wait but sitting at the drive-thru window for 15 minutes without acknowledgment is my limit. I have experienced slow and poor customer service here regularly. This location is very convenient for me, but I think I will take my business elsewhere.

The pharmacy department is very slow. Tell us it is going to be 45 minutes. So we leave. Call them back 1 hour later to see if it is ready. They say they were having issues with the insurance company. So they ask us for the information and then say it does not work. Can't someone at least call you to tell you they are having problems. I will never ever use the Walgreens in Verona.

I live nearby so i just accept the downfalls due to convenience. I agree with the pharmacy department lacking in customer service experience or even caring. I also had a situations when a lady pharmacist insinuated I'm a drug seeker because I didn't have insurance at the time. That pharmacist was way out of line. I'm a very loyal customer and a good citizen, so I was pretty offended by that situation. I haven't seen her in a while though, so maybe they have her the boot. Hopefully.

It's a walgreens. What is really frustrating is they have the slowest person working the register at peak times, some "indian" lady. Takes forever to check out. Hire someone new and faster please.

I also have three little kids who get sick a lot, like kids do, so I am in constant need of prescriptions. Nine times out of ten it is a very frustrating experience. Service is very slow. The phone system for refilling prescriptions is very time consuming, and sometimes not even working. I recently couldn't get through on the automated system so I talked to an actual person to refill my four prescriptions, just went to pick them up and there were only three waiting for me. They couldn't fill it right away so now I need to make another trip out there with my monkeys/kids. Fun times. I do't know if the are understaffed or if they need to retrain their current employees, but this location needs serious help.
