Wagon Trail is the Northern most private campground on Wisconsin's beautiful Door County Peninsula! It is extremely well maintained in a rustic setting.

This is rated as the best campground in Wisconsin and it lives up to the hype. We stayed in a yurt. It had a ceiling fan, indoor/outdoor lighting, electrical outlets, and a small heater. Sleeps 6 - bunk beds and the bottoms are doubles. Two chairs, stool, and table. Hooks to hang things. Site is immaculate with two chairs, picnic table, and fire pit. Each spot provides a bit of seclusion. Heavily wooded area. Lots of birds, squirrels, snakes, frogs, toads, etc but few mosquitoes, which was awesome. Office area is convenient with a helpful little store. Immaculate bathrooms, showers, and laundry that are heated and air conditioned. You can walk to the water, rent fishing gear for $5, or walk the mile up the main road for an awesome fish boil (they use onions in theirs - some don't, but I prefer them). Short drive to quite a few places. Already making plans to return next season. I would go again this year, but they are booked solid, so plan ahead.

We have been camping here for years! We have made many wonderful memories here! The owners are extremely friendly every visit! The sites are beautiful and wooded. The lodge, bathrooms and sites are extremely clean! This is a perfect campground for quiet and peaceful camping! Wagon Trail will always be our very first and favorite choice when we come to Door County for camping!

No cell phone service and I couldn't have been happier! Awesome place to unplug and relax. Every campsite is nice and quiet.

Our favorite campground. Great sites - many trees between each site. Very secluded sites, but never far from a bathroom. Showers in the main building are great. Very friendly staff. Nice hiking trails that start in the campground.

This is now one of my all time favorite campgrounds (and I've stayed at well over 100 across the country). I've never been to a campground that had so many nice small touches. Everything was clean and very well cared for. Our campsite had this lovely handmade stick fence that was beautiful. You can tell the owners have put a lot of time and energy into making the campground as attractive and comfortable as possible. And the staff was as friendly as any I've ever experienced. Overall we loved our stay here. The only thing that could be improved was the WiFi. It was only available in the main building (where there was a very comfortable lounge room). It was fast and worked well, but it would have been nice if it was available at the campsites. Although then it probably wouldn't have been as fast or worked as well!
