Both of the sake flights were delicious and varied a lot in flavor profile. The cold brew Sencha flights were different from each other but it was hard to discern differences within the flights. We had a 2:30 reservation and they were out of a few things so come earlier if you’re set on anything.nnThere is some loud helicopter noise and the greenhouse can get very hot but overall the atmosphere is nice.
Everything we tried was amazing. It was so good we came by for brunch every day we were in Banff! My favourites out of the things I tried were the unagi onigiri, omurice, hojicha latte, Katsu Sando, and the miso soup. The wagashi waffle was also a nice sweet treat, I would recommend asking for the ice cream on the side so that the waffle stays crispy longer. Make a reservation as seating is quite limited and they are pretty popular! All the staff are very kind too
Such a cute place!! Located inside the green house, it's a cute little tea house with indoor and outdoor seating.nnThe food was delicious, but even more so their teas and Lattes. I ordered the hojicha latte and my partner ordered the matcha latte, and I've never had a latte that tasted so fresh. The tea flavour was vibrant and was really the highlight of the drink.nnWe also got their matcha ice cream for dessert, and it was hands down the best matcha ice cream I've ever had and I've had a ton of matcha ice creams.nnDefinitely recommend! Also recommend putting in a reservation since their seating is limited.
One of our fave places in Canmore.nnReccos:nnTea:nIf you want to try something different from matcha, try the houjicha if you’re into roasty tea.nnFood wise:n- Any of the onigiris teriyaki tofu is a fave!!n- OmuricennDessert:nTheir soft serve is so good. Highly reccos the mixed swirl with kinako OR affogato with houjicha or matcha.nnPlease keep in mind it can run up quite the bill. But rest assured, the ingredients used are high quality and fresh.
We got egg benedict and Japanese breakfast. Their store made smoked salmon was very tasty. The food was good overall, although I personally found the portions small. It is located in a greenhouse and can see mountains.
