Best food I have had in the Kootenays to date. The presentation was incredible. My mom had the ginger beef and I had the pad Thai definitely will be back next time I’m in town. Docking you a star as your waffle iron was out of commission and you were out of halibut. Halibut burger I hear is superb.
What a creative name for the restaurant! While my friends and I didnt have waffles, they look amazing. We actually ended up eating pho, pad thai and red curry chicken. They were amazing. And the presentation was top notch! We were all really impressed with this gem in castlegar!
3 1/2 stars I love the food, their pad Thai is great and the presentation is incredible! Also cotton candy mimosas?? yes please. The service is alright but not outstanding. The most frustrating thing about this place is their extremely limited hours. Most times I’ve tried to go there they are closed.
Beautiful place to walk in, at night it's such a nice place to walk in and have so many different lighting scenarios. Along with that you have the option to kind of describe what seating you wish to have. The food was divine and quickly ful-filling, the beef pho with thin beef slices is what I got in the photo which was much easier to pick up with chopsticks plus some astray noodles which may have onion slices mixed within! Of course this place may seem pricey on the first glance, but to see where your money goes makes it worth it, and you can always take your food out if you don't finish. It was also one of my friends birthday today, so there was an offer to get the free dessert in the photo or an another wackier birthday waffle. Would totally suggest to bring friends, or family. Very kind service and tidy areas.
Great food and the belgian liege waffles are so good!! Those who get it, get it. The prices here also reflect the quality of food. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it had two big pieces of chicken between two big waffles which was very good and nice presentation with fresh fruits. I would recommend ordering the liege waffles from the à la carte menu and enjoy them that way; they are only $5 per waffle price is on point for the size since $3.50 is the going rate in any major city for a miniature waffle much smaller. For some that may consider the prices high, consider ordering one dish and share it as portions seem big. Service was also good here.
Wonderful fresh food and amazing presentation! Everything was delicious, huge portions of beautiful, fresh food! The service was wonderful too! Would absolutely come back again and again, Castlegar needs more places like this!
Delicious! Great service! Got a honey dew bubble tea with mango jellies, some beef pho, and a Canuck burger. Come prepared to eat, the portions are generous.
Wow this place is AWESOME! Went there for supper and got there at 2 minutes to 8:00, they close at 8:00. They sat us took our order and when the food was ready we got the biggest portions you could imagine. I was told that the portions were rediculously large and they were indeed rediculously large. I couldn't finish the salad that I got. Besides that fact that they give you so much food that it's impossible to finish, the saigon noddle salad I ordered was made with the freshest ingredients that were crisp and yummy. Service was also spot on. Well done everyone at Waf Pho! One week later, I came back and had the Pho. It is so good and fresh! My wife and the table beside us also had the pho and by the time all of us were done with a bead starting on our foreheads all I could see were big smiles everywhere! I have been converted I LOVE PHO!
Great food, huge portions, a few more drink options would be nice though. Chicken wings are huge, the waffles are perfect all the food that comes out is a work of art
The food and portion sizes were good. I also liked the layout and atmosphere of the restaurant.
