W. E. Graham Community Service Society provides programs and services that actively engage individuals and families in the Slocan Valley.
W.E. Graham Community Service Society (WEGCSS) is located at 1001 Harold Street, Slocan BC. Canada. The Society serves the village of Slocan as well as the outlying rural communities of the Slocan Valley, a service area which encompasses most of area H of the regional district of Central Kootenay.
WEGCSS is managed by a nine member board of directors, elected annually at the societies AGM, from the membership list.
Our Facility is home of the Slocan Youth Centre, The Slocan Valley Food Cupboard, Valhalla Children's Centre, And the Slocan Learning Centre. All of which are programs operated by WEGCSS. We also operate a seniors Luncheon Program, and Summer Day Camp. WEGCSS administrates, and facilitates other community programs in our facility, and surrounding community. Which include Counselling Services, Art Therapy, Strong Start, After School Sports Initiative, Networks for New Parents.

W.E. Graham Community Service Society through innovative programs and exceptional access to School District #8 facilities exists to:
*Coordinate community use of the existing school facilities and resources for educational, social, and cultural activities.
*Provide leadership in community economic and social development
*Facilitate life-long learning opportunities for community members
*Alleviate rural isolation and lack of social and recreational services for youth.
*Provide programs and services that actively engage and support individuals, families, and community groups
*Act as a resource and referral agency for vulnerable individuals and families in the Slocan Valley
*Connect and collaborate with existing regional services & other organizations
