About

Vulcan's official Visitor Information Centre.

Story

This one of a kind visitor information centre was built to look like a landed space station. and is home to a large collection of Star Trek Memorabilia, the Galaxy Souvenir Gift Shop, and of course: tourist information from around the county and the province.

Open Year Round, the unique Vulcan Tourism & Trek Station is designed to look like a landing spacecraft. As you enter the building, the stars and nebula of the “Trek Station’s” floor to ceiling space murals will have you feeling that you have stepped into outer space.

You will be greeted by the Trek Station’s Captain and friendly crew members who are on hand to answer all of your questions about Vulcan’s fictitious association with Star Trek’s Mr. Spock.

This is easily one of the the coolest visitor centres you could visit anywhere. The staff are amazing there’s so much cool stuff to look at from the costumes to the displays to the solar system model from the ceiling. On top of that there’s lots of cool other things in the back and you could take awesome pictures. Live at your childhood fantasies in this space station, and don’t forget to pick up a pair of authentic Vulcan ears!
The receptionist was kind and friendly. The shop had good selection of memorabilia and spots to take fun photos with Star Trek character cut-outs or be in the Captain's chair. We are very happy we stopped.
Took my parents and son to visit and it was fantastic! The staff member working was very knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about Star Trek! The visitor centre was very well kept and had an impressive amount of memorabilia. Lots of items signed by stars and fun items for purchase. Drove through town and saw a large mural featuring some Star Trek cast. The streets lights were little ships! Definitely recommend stopping in Vulcan!
Must visit for Star Trek lovers! They have a lot of original Star Trek content up to the Kelvin timeline movies, but nothing with any of the new Star Trek franchises from Discovery on. Also lots of Town of Vulcan Star Trek themed merch. You can get a green screen image printed with you on the bridge up to 45 min before they close. Love that there is also a short real-history display of the town. The town also hosts Vul-Con, so I will have to come back!
Have meant to visit here for a long time. Was surprised that they don't charge admission, but they do gratefully accept donations. Some very unique Star Trek collectibles. There is a green screen animation studio, but it wasn't working when we visited. Also a recent upgrade to Main Street lighting.
Super cute spot for Trek fans. Many neat pieces inside. Talkebthe walkabout around town to find other Trek items
We were passing through Vulcan and decided to stop at the Star Trek tourist stuff. The Enterprise was well kept and to our disappointment the Tourist center was only opened on the weekend. As a kid I loved the original series and will be back to see the display of memorabilia. What we looked at was great. A little repair needed for the photo sign. Overall worth the stop.
A great location for the Star Trek enthusiast. This location has some replicas, a monument, and good conversation.
They are open during Covid. Not a very big exhibit but packed with signed photos, real life size action figures, cardboard cutouts, collectibles, some early settler history, and a cute gift shop. Not to mention that staff is very friendly and informative. Definitely, should stop by and check it out
Wish this place was open. Lots of online information saying its open but the whole town is closed. The town is really missing out on a great opportunity. If they actually put effort into going all out with Star Trek, they would get lots of business for all these stores that are closing up. Sad the town depends on someone to do their job as a tourist destination and the guy obviously gave up.
