What a brilliant place! The main takeaway is that everyone takes time and the utmost care to ensure that your eyes are looked after and you find the perfect glasses for your style, prescription & budget. Dr Tran was immensely thorough and personable. And Claude, the optician who helped me select three sets of new frames, each with different specifications, was intuitive, patient, and clever. Plus, for specs lovers, the shop is an absolute candy store. Fantastic!

Absolutely outstanding service! I was drawn to Voskins in Mile End by their store front, and when I first entered, was greeted by Billy. He invited me to look around, and also explained to me how to book an appointment online. Having had three negative optometrist experiences in my past, but also benefitting from a stellar one i See Optometry and optician Albert's in Ottawa, I was in need of a reputable service in Montreal. Voskins did not disappoint! And as mentioned in another review, here too Dr Guimond provided a solution to a problem [contact lenses/migraine] that no other Opto had done before! Dr Julien Guimond is an *exceptional* doctor who explains everything from A to Z. He truly cares about his patients giving his time generously but efficiently, with ample explanations along the way. I can't help but think how valuable his manner would be to children, someone with sensitivity or an impairment, and those who miss old-school service with a personable touch. The staff from Billy to two opticians who served me, are top-notch, and work together collaboratively bringing you an excellent and comprehensive service from start to finish in fluent English or French, as you wish. There is no rushing - they are there for you, fully. I'm waiting on my new lenses and have no doubts they'll be great, along with a pair of Garrett Leight - California frames picked by Billy. It's no wonder their appointments fill up fast! In all - Voskins is a superb investment in your eye health, and wonderfully satisfying for their collection of fashionable eye wear.

Had an eye exam by Julien Guimond who was extremely professional and patient with me considering my complicated case. He offered solutions that I have never been offered in my 22 years of wearing glasses and suffering from the same condition. I opted not to purchase new frames and the team was not pushy and respected this decision. For those who can afford the frames they do offer some beautiful ones.

At first I liked the designs and selections but found this place really pricy. Then after looking around and not finding anything comparable design wise I decided to splurge on some handmade Ahlem glasses. However the extra is by far covered by the incredibly service Carolyne and her team rendered. I had to change my glasses 3 times and when I accidentally drove a loaded wheelbarrow over them they gave me an incredible deal on replacing my glasses and frame. Also they polished my broken old frame so I have an extra for next time I do something stupid. So don’t worry about the premium. You will get a better and more unique design, lots of compliments, and the service will more than make up for it.

Amazing customer service. I was not 100% confortable with my prescription and they re-adjusted the glasses, re-did my exam and ordered new lenses for me! Caroline has been helping me from the start - helped me find the perfect pair for my face and the style I was looking for, and making sure I was perfectly happy and confortable with the glasses. Getting sunglasses as well! Great selection too. Highly recommend!

I visited about 20 other stores during this prescription glasses hunt/process, and Voskins are worth the detour. I love the vibe of this place, small decor details, the brands they carry my SALT from Japan feel timeless and contemporary, the mascot pooch and the customer service is chill and laid-back with no attempts to up-sell.
