Used to come here since my early childhood through high school when still run by Greek owners Christos and Frank. Remember their submarines were amazing, the creamy dressing was delicious. Pizza and Greek food too. Like many restaurants when new owners take over, food changes and quality goes downhill. Enough said.
Used to go here all the time in high school... service now is just terrible. Walked in for lunch, were seated, then didn't see anyone for 40minutes. Waiter catered quickly to a couple kids who came in for poutines but didn't bother taking our order! And we had a baby with us. We left, and were chased out... "you're leaving !? " yup. Never going back
We were told last night that they went out of business mid-September. There is no notice or sign to indicate anything.
I was fooled by good reviews for this restaurant. If you’re stuck in Hudson and there’s no other place to eat, you may consider it. We tried chicken parmesan, Greek pizza, and fettuccine Alfredo, and none of us liked our dishes. For whatever reason the water was sour and they even didn’t know why. Also the table service was terrible.
Went back for the first time in a long time. Very pleasantly surprised. The food was great, the service was friendly and attentive. The old owners are apparently back, and Frank treated us and our kids very well, with little extras thrown in. We'll be going back. I've heard the breakfasts are good as well.
I was there yesterday for the first time ever after a good friend of mine treated me for lunch. The food was excellent, very reasonabley priced and the portions were huge. I love this place and highly recommend it to all and by the way the service was excellent.
I can’t agree with positive reviews staged here. The truth is plain average Greek meals, cold and overpriced. Waitress looked like she had hangover, disgusting and untidy. “Nickels” as compared to this place is much better and cheaper place. Never be back and will discourage my friends. Also, a few questions to the owner: 1. Are you always short of bread and butter? 2. When your driver substitutes your cook, your 14-ounce medium rare steak comes out as a 7-ounce piece of tough meat. Teach your driver to cook, please. 3. Who is Randy, God bless this sneaky guy???
Food was delicious and service was great! Portion size was perfect.
Good food, very nice service. Kid friendly. They were very considerate and nice to the kids. Price wise very well priced. We had the souvlaki platters and they were consistent and with varied salads and cheeses feta and cream cheese and tzatziki and the kids took the pizza option which was very tasty too.
Friendly staff and food is ok, but boy does this place need an update!!! it's very old and not in a good way. Charming location and they should update it to look the same on the inside . Hudson is all about the charming white picket fence and old world charm homes.This restaurant is definitely not charming! It looks like it came out from the 1980's! It's a shame because Hudson is a very Charming location to have a sweet breakfast on a sunny sunday morning... this would be the perfect place to go if it wasn't for the inside looking so yuck!
