The services yesterday morning July 19th, 2023 was amazing. I got a tomato soup with extra toast, to-go and the lady who served me was an absolute delight! She's a great employee - everyone else who worked anywhere in the airport was so grumpy it seemed. She was a breath of fresh air for me as a stressed out traveller. If you see this - thank you for the amazing service with a smile!
Had an amazing experience here. Came in around 7am feeling some type of way, flights delayed got time to kill. Sit down and the most radiant bar tender comes up. She starts listing off all the different beer they have, none of which are on tap by the way. Eventually I settle on an all time classic: bud lite. She asks me “would you like it in a glass?” Of course I say. She then proceeds to flawlessly pour the beer out into a cheap plastic cup. I was amazed. Even more amazing, the views in this spot. If you ever find yourself in the deepest darkest corners of the airplane, flying with the worst airlines, this is the spot to go.
Start off with the positives…music playing in background was nice ambience and my tequila-soda was delicious. Opportunities for improvement: - being greeted by server WAY faster - listen to my question, and answer IT, not what you THOUGHT I said - IMO Server shouldn’t have an EarPod in while serving/on shift. Unless it is work related. However, watching him be distracted on his phone would make me conclude his phone and what he was listening to was of more importance. - food was overpriced and sub-par to be honest.
Megan was spectacular, I've never enjoyed a glass of wine better than with her Superior knowledge of vintages. I wish I could take her with me to Europe to the winery. Khushpreet was good too.
Loved the flatbread pizza and the plate of hummus and pita at this restaurant. Given how exposed this resto is to the hustle and bustle going on in the airport around you, I found myself deeply engrossed in my food and didn’t notice the hundreds of people walking by me as I was thoroughly enjoying the pizza and hummus. I was also impressed with the hospitality and speed of the solo waitress who was serving at least 11 other tables. She was working extremely hard given how short staffed they were. Shoutout to her for making this a great lunch at Pearson!
The server may have been having a bad day but it was evident the last place she wanted to be was there serving the customers. I had a bowl of tomato soup that came with bread. The soup was oily but tasty and the bread was a very thin heal of a loaf of bread. Don't waste your money eating here.
I don’t leave reviews unless I feel it’s necessary. but this place has the slowest service I’ve ever experienced. don’t bother stopping unless you have 2-3 hours to kill before your flight!Food: 3/5
Bought a herbed roast beef sandwich to go. No herbs, no carmelized onions, no aioli, soggy doughy bun. Terrible way to treat travellers.Food: 1/5
A few days ago, I was flying back from the East coast and had passed this place on the way to my gate. Being given an hour and a half layover, I decided to stop by for a drink. I’m so glad I did. Not only were the drinks amazing, I’ve never had such welcoming, interactive, and such charming service being here. My servers made me feel like I was just having a few drinks with close friends even in the middle of a busy airport I never felt rushed. I’m definitely hitting this place up when I go through Pearson again! Special thanks to Megan Alexis, girl you were my favourite
The server was nice, and I would have had a great time waiting for my flight, but I am allergic to gluten. I ordered a pizza with gluten free crust and the server brought it over. About 10 minutes later, the server notice that the crust wasn’t gluten free. I gave the pizza back and they made another one for me to go on gluten free, but I was already sick. I got a rash/itchy skin, fatigue, painful bloating, etc. Really not fair, I think maybe there needs to be more attention to allergies because there is no worse place for me to be sick than on a plane.
