Tried this location for the first time. The location is great, the inside is rather small and confining if busy. We went in the evening as we were perusing the new locations of various businesses. The ice cream is always great and reasonably priced in comparison to other ice cream shops. Staff was friendly but not overly inviting. Have had a better experience at their other locations. Either way ice cream is always a must!
This was our first visit. The staff was super nice; he answered all of our questions about all of the amazing options.nnThe location was clean, I like how you enter in one door and when you go out the other door there is a sitting area so you can dig in straight away.nnMy DD had a vegan Villsbury doughboy, it was delicious. I had a North 49 Honey berry, it is now on my permanent list of ice cream I will eat.nnWe both had a waffle cone, they were sweet and crunchy.nnOverall a great experience and a super afternoon snack.
Very good ice cream store. We ordered 8 ice cream’s, different flavours. Everyone enjoyed it. Ice cream price is reasonable.There was a long line for ice cream. There is one in and one exit door, total 2 doors. Shop size is small but with two doors and smart staff, wait time is reasonable. There is a small sitting area too. They have good washroom. Very convenient location. You can park vehicles on road side, with free parking.
Ok. Full transparency... I love ice cream, and this location has amazing flavors on a regular basis. In the summer I sit on their outside courtyard benches with my dog, where they supply a puppy water bowl. $6 for a regular single scoop is a bit hefty, bit the ice cream here is SO good. They also sell pints of your favourites and make their waffle cones on site. Pricey, yes, but I still recommend completely.
I was glad to try out this location of Village Ice Cream as I reside in NW part of Calgary. Before, I always had to drive downtown to enjoy and fulfill my craving for Village Ice Cream. This location is smaller than the downtown location but the taste is the same and the service was excellent... even though the location was super busy as I went on a Saturday night and the line up was out the door. Highly recommended
