If you are ever in Sooke, I recommend using this grocery store over the one across the street Western.  The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the selection is much better.  Produce is very fresh and selection is really nice!

Had every thing we needed. Nice produce section. It seemed like everything g on the shelves dry goods was priced at $5.99. Gotta get used to Canadian dollars. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Will definitely go there again this week while we are in Sooke, BC!!

The deli and bakery are well stocked!nnI always buy more than I need because everything is so fresh.nnI love how they allow local community organizations to fundraise outside.nnAlso a dog “den”by the front.

Village Food Market is my favorite grocery store in Sooke. They carry a large variety of interesting foods, and they’re locally owned.

Prices are pretty good here. They always have a draw promotion, so members get one entry per receipt/purchase. There is an excellent bakery here with some of the most delicious foods I have ever tried. The deli selection is also great - lots of take home meals, deli salads, snack food trays, etc. and good prices on ice cream, chocolates, candy, frozen goods, and other grocery favorites.
