Ordered the "Eggplant and Zucchini Parmigiana", it came with complimentary bread. Scenery is pleasant, music is classy, food is delicious but greasy, staff was kind but inattentive. It took 20 minutes for the food to arrive and a while to get staff's attention so I could order. When I was ready to pay, I couldn't get any of the staff's attention so I went to the front entry for help. It was a nice experience but it's far too expensive to come again.
Very enjoyable experience. My wife and I are relatively new residence of Newmarket, 2 years as of September and this was our first visit to Villa Risi. We will be making this a regular place to celebrate, birthdays anniversaries etc and when we feel like treating ourselves. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Our meals were excellent in taste and presentation. Looking forward to our next visit.
Went for Valentine’s day dinner, it was delicious. The service was good and quick, and the portions were very big. Will definitely be back here. Definitely will be recommending this place to people as it was a perfect evening. the singer had a beautiful voice, and the live music just added to the already wonderful atmosphere!
This is a hidden gem, I wish I tried them sooner! Food is high quality. The tomato sauce tastes exactly like an authentic Nonna sauce! If you’re Italian you’ll get the reference highly recommend for authentic Italian dishes!
I was there with colleagues and families on a Friday night. A quiet and cozy restaurant with live music the singer had very nice voice and I ate a great rack of lamb. It was nicely cooked and very tasty. My son had beef striploin which was a little hard even though it was cooked medium well. Overall, the food was good but very pricey!
Went for dinner tonight with my husband. Service was mediocre. Took 10+ minutes for waitress to take our drink order, then brought the wrong drink, asked them to correct it and came back 30 seconds later with the same drink. Antipasto was good, lobster ravioli was absolutely disgusting, couldn't even finish it. Shrimp was hard and chewy. Tiramisu was yummy. Glassware was dirty, something was splattered all over the wall behind where were seated, the ceiling had big water stains and disgusting filthy dust was hanging from the vents we kept watching to see it if would land in the other tables food. I was so excited to eat here but sadly will not be returning. Yuk.
We had reservations here for a Valentine’s dinner tonight and it was very disappointing. Upon arriving, it took over ten minutes to get seated, during which nobody acknowledged us. Once seated, we waited for another 30 minutes without even being offered a glass of water. The table beside us who who sat down after us were served drinks at this point. I was also disappointed to see that they had a condensed menu that was missing the items I would have chosen from the online menu, like the risotto and pizza. At this point, we chose to leave as nobody had even acknowledged our presence, and it was clear it was going to be an underwhelming dining experience. When I told the staff we were leaving because of the service, they didn’t show any concern at all. I understand it’s Valentine’s Day and restaurants are generally busy and understaffed, but I don’t expect we’ll return to Villa Risi. This experience reminded me why I usually choose any other day to go out for dinner.

Lovely atmosphere, server was great, food came fast and was absolutely delicious, and as a bonus it was a monday evening and we had the resturaunt to ourselves! Will be returning. Thank you!
The is for Uber eats, the noodles were hot! If you are thinking you are craving Italian food or starving while you are at work and thought Italian sounds amazing! Please do your stomach and wallet a favor DO NOT spend your money there. $40 + for feeling sick now! I should of grabbed a plain bagel next door my body would be much happier! Never again!
