One of the best Italian foods in town...the house like location makes this restaurant a very cozy place to dine. The owners warm welcome and professional staff that pay attention to details make this restaurant a true gem. An elegant location for spending time with friends and make excellent memories. This restaurant price wise is on the high end of the scale but worth every penny. beautiful, charming location, good food and A1 staff.
Had a very nice evening at villa Armando! Food is excellent, from the grilled octopus we had to the risotto with huge tiger shrimps to the back gelato; everything was delicious. Excellent job to the waiter who served us and excellent job to everyone who works and runs the place. Would recommend this place in a heart beat!!!!
Great selection of gelatos, before I would only go to Roberto’s on Jarry but good to know there is another great choice with a beautiful patio area in TMR that makes it great for a pit stop with family or bike ride. I was also very impressed with coffee and Italian sandwiches.
Fresh bread was made today. Be ready for the unespected as every day is deliciously suprising as Armando take you to a journey to Italy
Outstanding cosy place, amazing food and coffee, great service, pricey wine
Considering that this restaurant is upscale and that prices follow that upscale positionning, I would say that everything is good but not great, and as such I am not that impressed. The food is good yet not impressive, and I feel the plate I ordered could have been as tasty at lower end restaurants. I am not a food critic though, just a personal opinion. The staff and owners are friendly and nice, yet a couple of things happened that should not at an upscale restaurant. The setup is very nice though. One thing that I found weird is that at such a restaurant the pasta is not made fresh on premise as I heard. All in all, the place is worth visiting and I would go there again, but considering the price and high end positionning, I was not impressed.
I would give 0 if I had the option. I have been here a month ago with my husband and my baby. The high chair was super dirty and I had to clean it my self. The restaurant was kind of empty as it was during the week still the service was too slow. The bread of bruschetta was so hard u could not eat The grilled octopus was so bad. I had a pasta with sausage which made me sick the day after my husbands sea food linguini had closed mussels and the chef said it happens!!!! Spent 140$ for all of this! Also, didnt check the vaccine passport!!!!
Amazing food even for vegetarians like us. The patio, ambiance, servers and the food was simply amazing. The flavours were so simple and yet rich. The best italian food we had in a long time!!!
Very good restaurant, cozy, romantic ambiance and professional manager/owner. They know how to spoil you while you are waiting for your group to be completed and they keep you happy no matter what. They are not in rush to serve you, but take their time, leave u enough chance to enjoy your meal while your socializing with ur family and friends. Pricey but not very. worth to try with ur loved ones. Definitely will go back. BTW, thanks to the owner for accepting our group in the last moment and made it happens.
It is a gem in the area. As Italian Seafood it has been my best experience in the region so far. The villa setting makes it also very eccentric. Great for dates, business lunches and even groups in special sections. Would recommend for sure. Only thing is it is a bit pricey also considering small portions.
