We order the beef noodle soup And the #44 is pic 2. Both taste good. Just too many MSG in it. Next time need to order without MSG. I think we are the first one to order the grill meat with the meal.they didn't clean it? That is why the meat will make my noodle turn to burn color? LOL.
This WAS my favorite place to order from. Unfortunately the prices have increased dramatically this is understandable in the current economic climate, had the food quality stayed the same, the quality has dropped to a point you have to grind the food it is so tough. Others had noted the chicken to be tough and rubbery, it is full of grissel which leads me to believe they may be using Stewing hens. Prices increase and quality down hill leads to a recipe for disaster. Taste is good but gaulity is not. I will look for another restaurant that tries to please their customers not rip them off.
I ordered one item, a number 43 Combo. Month ago it was $16.75, Now it is $23.50 That is pure greed and gouging. The cost of food has gone up, but not that much. I will not be back there again. The price of spring rolls have gone up $5.00. Pure greed.
I wouldnt eat here, I ordered mix vegetable tofu chow mein under the vegetarian section and found a big hecking slice of chicken not to mention the food smelled like an old sock. They were hiding the slice under the noodles...lucky for me as a long time vegetarian I didnt eat any chicken...I ended up eating some veggies and tofu then stirring the dish all to find not just a piece but a big slice at the bottom hiding as if I was supposed to eat it all then discover...be advised if your vegetarian dont go here. They thought it would be funny to hide a big slice of chicken at the bottom and was purposely put there...this was a malicious attack not just a mistake...
I have been ordering rice vermicelli dishes from this place for over 15 years and compared to everywhere else in the city only Viet thai comes close. What I am saying is this is easily top tier establishment when it comes to rice vermicelli dishes
This used to be my favorite Vietnamese restaurant but the quality seems to have gone down recently. I'm not sure if maybe news owners but the chicken in both of my orders was tough and rubbery. The sauce had no flavor anymore - the thai spring rolls are bland as well. I thought last time it was maybe just a one off but this time I ordered it was just very disappointing again. They have also significantly raised their prices, which understandable given the current times but for the cost I no longer see this place as worthwhile. I hope it's a new owner and just some growing pains but disappointed to say the least.
Change of owner so the prices have changed as well. Asked for hot sauce and they didn't let us know that it was an extra charge until we saw the bill. I came here often with my family but will now dine more at other restaurants.
Great food, great staff, reasonable priceFood: 5/5
We ordered dinner for 2 & wonton soup egg noodles, chicken in mixed vegetables taste very bad & taste like a raw old chicken. We did not enjoy the food & the wonton soup egg noodles not hot & taste like they put too much seasoning. The area wasn't clean either. We waste our $45. the lady's here said she doesn't know why the food like that. I said like she need to taste what they serve. I'm not gonna recommend this place! I got my stomach hurt.
My favorite restaurant in town. Food is reasonably priced, and always delicious. I went through a phase of just randomly ordering numbers blind off the menu and never got a dish I didn't like. They were on of the restaurants with the best responses to the pandemic too. Always felt comfortable ordering food from here.
