Wow ! It was a beautiful, romantic , rainy day visit here for my partner and I! We only spent a hour but had a great time. Check out Fan Tan Alley, grab a delicious organic coffee around the corner there! Highly recommend the magic incense / crystal high vibin spiritual store in fan tan alley !
If you are visiting Victoria, the Chinatown is the great place for a stroll, walk around the whole area. There are lots of interesting spots for shopping, taking pictures.nThe place is well keep and clean. Lots of pay parking in this area.nThere are different culture restaurants in this area. Of course there are lots of Chinese food too.nDon't forget walk into the Fan Tan alley. It's may be the narrowest alley in Victoria. There are many shops and a small museum in the alley.nThe Market Square and Johnson Street are closed by the Chinatown. You should walk around the surrounding area.
Victoria's Chinatown is the oldest in Canada and the second oldest in North America, after San Francisco. It's a vibrant and historic area, rich with culture and unique architecture. Walking through its narrow streets, you can feel the history and see how it has evolved over time. The food and nightlife scene is also pretty cool as you're in a good spot for it all.
Chinatown is an interesting area to explore when visiting Victoria. We found some good eateries and fun shops when walking around. We didn’t feel like visiting needed an abundance of time, but we are glad we came.
Such a beautiful place to visit. We only had four hours to be in Canada so we didn't get to experience a lot but we knew this was one of the places we wanted to see and it didn't disappoint. There is also a restaurant real close by called Varsha and it was amazing from the food to the service definitely worth a visit if you are over here
