I really enjoyed Chinatown. The museum, little shops and even the tam kung temple were all great. Everybody was very friendly. Overall would recommend going to check it out. Though you will for sure need to go many times to say you have seen everything.
There are tons of places to eat around here, and plenty of spots stay open late, which I loved. And if you visit in the spring, the pink cherry blossoms are absolutely gorgeous — the whole area looks like something out of a photo. Such a fun place to walk around and grab good food!
I enjoy visiting Chinatown in different states and this was just as beautiful in downtown Victoria BC, Canada. Just walking around and seeing the beautiful architecture, murals and sculptures is amazing. You have your gift shops, produce and restaurants to enjoy yourself or with family and friends. There was plenty more to see but I had limited time unfortunately. Love Chinatown.
I enjoyed looking through Victoria's Chinatown district. I understood that this is the oldest and most intact Chinatown in Canada. Fun checking out the heritage buildings and interesting alley walkways exploring stores and restaurants.
You can really feel the history of early Chinese immigrants here — how they settled, built communities, and shaped the neighborhood over time.nAfter strolling through the area, you’ll also find plenty of cozy spots nearby to sit down for a breather, whether it’s a cup of milk tea or a comforting bowl of Chinese comfort food.
