Delicious food and great service! We ordered the Jalea de mariscos and steak tacos. Large portions! Highly recommend.Recommended dishesSteak Taco
Had lunch here yesterday. The lady was very friendly that took our order. The chicken tamale was very tender and had a great flavor. Carne asada was great and the wife really enjoyed her AL pastor tacos. Pompusas were bomb as well. This will be our new go to for Latina food.
Sweet little spot with a family vibe. Full bar/LLBO as well. We ate delicious tacos, homemade salsa, and huge, cheesy, flavorful pupusas with great fillings: loroco, zucchini, beans and cheese among others. Rice was perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned, portions were generous without being extravagant. Friendly and attentive service, too. Bit of a hidden gem just outside the main downtown area.
Ordered delivery from this restaurant but I was hungry and mostly forgot to take pictures lol We ordered Steak Tacos, Beef Nachos, Tres Leches Cake and Quesadilla - Dessert. The nachos and the tres leches were pretty good but I didn't really care for the tacos or quesadilla dessert. Over all I found there were too many onions in the food and that was the predominant taste of everything. I also found the steak in the tacos to be tough and the quesadilla dessert was dry. Based on the other options in the city I'm not sure if I'd order it again, perhaps a dine in visit in the future.
For a place that you almost overlook when walking past, this place has some of the most amazing food I’ve ever had. The owner and staff were super friendly, food came out quick, and literally everything was super flavourful.
If you're looking for LEGIT Latino cuisine, you've come to the right place! I tried the meat and cheese, bean and cheese, and zucchini and cheese pupusas and they were AMAZING. The steak tacos were great too! Very tender beef. I will be back! Tell your friends. I'm sooo happy now.
This place is amazing! Very authentic! I've never had a dish I didn't like here! Food: 5/5
The best parillada that is have had. The Jalea is the best. Flavour was amazing.Food: 5/5
I only tried pupusa but they were absolutely delicious. The restaurant is small and owned by a local Hispanic family. It really makes you feel like you’re getting a home-cooked meal I recommend a place to anyone who wants to try South American food.
