Victoria Inn Flin Flon

I have stayed at this hotel in the main building before and it was fine. My last stay was in the motel side and it's an absolute dump. Took a shower at 2am, since I was working night shift and the steam from the shower set off the smoke alarm. The ventilation fan did not work and the alarm would not shut off after 30 min and when I called the front counter, was simply told that it was from the steam. The floor was disgusting with random debris including coins. The shower was falling apart including what looked like black mould. Front desk was notified that I would be working night shift and they still assigned me a room next door to the laundry room with the walls so thin I could hear people's conversations verbatim. Would have given one star, but I don't recall any issues when I stayed at the main building. You would be better off sleeping in your car than staying in the motel side.

Good hotel, rooms are large and clean. Rooms have large TV, fridge and storage for clothes. Internet is relatively fast, although does slow down in the evenings as would be expected. Meal options in the hotel are good and location is handy close to Walmart, Canadian Tire and Co-op supermarket.

First time we stayed, it was great. Food was good and fast. Second time, horrible!! Front desk lady yelling at my 3 year old who was only 4 steps in front of me to stop running (Which he wasn't) I told her dont talk to my son like that! Tried to argue with me, I walked away from her then she started glaring at me when we would walk by!

Best hotel in town. It's worth the few extra dollars to have a great restaurant and bar in the hotel and close proximity to handy retail.

Rooms are comfortable and clean, toiletries and above average, staff at front and restaurant were incredible absoutley incredible
