So happy with the service and help I got here. The bad reviews complain about poor customer service....but if you want the best stain for your Reno do you really need a red carpet rolled out or do you just want the best product for the job? I got help here that I could never get from home Depot and now my stain finally matches perfectly after so much mixing and guessing I had to go through from the big box stores.

As an Interior Designer now retired my professional affiliation with Mohawk over a period of twenty years between 1994-2014 was met with very good service and a very high quality of finishing to my client’s fine furniture. I continue to recommend Mohawk Finishing for their service and excellent work.

The Good: - Excellent selection - Good prices - If you know what you're doing then this is the place to get what you need. The Other: - Google's hours of operation show that they're open until 5:30 - Their store-hour sign has the last two digits after 5: blacked out. Like, what? - Showed up between 5 and 5:30 and they were closed - Showed up at 5:09 and they were closed. see photo - Hey, Mohawk: Update your hours on Google to 5! Problem solved. - A Mohawk service-rep recommended a contractor to use a silicon-based colored-caulking as a filler, which did not go well with painting overtop-of afterwards. Seriously? - Maybe the Mohawk rep at the time didn't understand what the contractor needed? Who knows. Bottom Line: - Mohawk: 1 Please get your Google-hours and store open-hours sign in sync, and 2 please be sure to know exactly what people need before selling them something that's totally wrong. - Great Selection - Customer Service: Seriously wanting.

Scratch remover lid stopped working after 1 use. Could not open. Tried to return it but discovered they were closed.

Very professional - can help you out with what products will work best with what wood product.

I use mohawk products in my shop and the company pretty much covers everything needed. Only a few questionable products. My rep is pretty helpful. Never been to one of the stores. I can say I used to get my products a lot quicker. But they really set the bar. If you havent used a mohawk aerosol before you don't know what your missing.

Let’s cut through the BS: I restore antiques professionally, and have been relying upon Mohawk for all my button shellac, hide glue, and stacks of other supplies, for over a decade. The supplies that I need have always been on their shelves in superabundance, and I have never had an unpleasant experience with the staff. In fact, not only have they been courteous every time with me, but I have witnessed them patiently giving furniture finishing instruction to neophytes on many, many occasions. This is an industrial finishing supply business. If you want your hand held, given a hug, served tea and biscuits while having your feet rubbed, go elsewhere. I suspect that the people who have issues with Mohawk and its staff are the same ones who need continual reassurance and affirmation from total strangers wherever they go. People with clear ego deficiencies, and a ridiculous set of expectations, should never venture further than their front doors. Normal people will not have a complete ego meltdown in Mohawk if the clerk isn’t fawning all over them, and the supplies offered by Mohawk are the best in the Lower Mainland.

Great service today at Mohawk. The gentleman took the time to help me match a complicated multi-step Wood finish. Explained the steps required to achieve the result and went out of his way to set me up to tester sizes for samples so I didn’t have to spend a fortune on product. Very good service!

I do like the lots of choices you get there, but when I showed them a photo of the wood color I would like to achieve they said "no way". That means they miss these noble hues of darker brownish grayish.

Horrible customer service, will never be coming back here. They do not know how to treat their custormers. Especially V.J. son. They use to have an amazing worker named Nitya, I haven't seen him anymore he was the one person that knew how to treat the customers. I will not be visiting this store anymore.
