Victoria Drive Community Hall

I would love to express how awesome it was to rent this hall for a Halloween shindig I was hosting. The downstairs hall was a perfect space at an INCREDIBLE price! Big thanks to all the staff members who helped me through the booking process and for all the assistance during the event. I will definitely come back here to book another event, perhaps I'll give the upstairs hall a try for a big musical extravaganza! :

This is a great, affordable space! My dance groups rent from here every Tuesday evening, and the floor is AMAZING for partner dance! It's so spacious as well. The caretaker, Dave, is always available to help us set up, clean up, and if we need anything for our dance practice. Would recommend this space for any dance group or group looking for affordable space in Vancouver.

I was their Caretaker for almost 3 Years. I was Abusively Micromanaged and had the smallest of Mistakes pushed into my face constantly and ended up Dismissed despite doing my Very Best to satisfy the Association's Requirements at same time trying my Best to keep their Customers Happy while trying to enforce their Rules & Regulations and making sure that everything was done Safely. I should point out that the Chinese Community Tai Chi Groups can vouch for the fact that I kept the Hall in immaculate order for their Tai Chi Sessions and I whole heartedly thank them for always treating me Honourably and Respectfully.

Old building but serves its purpose. Men’s and women’s washroom are in different floors so you can’t find a men’s washroom upstairs and women’s washroom downstairs. It has its own kitchen as well.

Nice floor to dance. On many tandas, everyone is dancing. No air conditioning though. It has a small parking lot for 6 cars. Otherwise there is sometimes a parking spot right in front on the street.

What a good Community Center, our Filipino Seniors Dancing on most Sundays enjoy the venue , has a Lift for Seniors or for those with mobility needs , its large , has a stage for the upper main Hall and a smaller lower Hall for Birthdays / Any Celebration.

When I was using the washroom, the staff came in, turnedoff all the lights. And yelling at me, said “”you cannot use this washroom.“” When she turned off the lights I was still sitting on the toilet.It's so dark inside. What kind of person? So rude.No mercy at all. And our dancing teacher, last week just fell down seriously from the stairs at this place.

The building is very old. Have good heating on winter time. But the place smells old wood. Price is reasonable if you are a budget group.

Good for event like birthday parties, baptismal, etc in the upper hall, spacious if you have a lot of visitors.

Good old fashion community hall.
