Welcoming service and great food. Drinks nice too. We had shrimp roll and PEI beef. Even the sides were delicious. Best dish of the night was Burrata. Also the best Burrata I had so far
This was my first French meal. I had the beef tartare and burrata. If you are in town and you want to try a good summer dish, you must try the burrata. The pickled garlic flower, fresh burrata, herbs, pesto, heirloom tomatoes, and peaches were like listening to a good orchestra. Servers and bartender are very kind and attentive.
Food is very good here. Service is also excellent. I enjoyed my time here.
This is one of our regular spots because the quality is consistently great. Food is absolutely amazing every time, we have never been disappointed. Wine suggestions are always well-matched with our food. The space is open and well-decorated, during the summer they have a big beautiful terrace. Service is always considerate, friendly and timed nicely. I literally have nothing bad to say. My husband also brings his work celebrations here because the menu makes everyone happy. Crowd pleaser, to boot!! Great job guys, keep up the great work!
Solid restaurant. I've dropped a star because not all dishes are consistent or perfectly seasoned, which is an expectation at this price point. However, the service is good, and it's one of the better places in the Plateau.Food: 4/5
We ended up here quite by accident late on Thanksgiving night when there weren't many other open restaurants in the neighborhood. My friend and I were both hangry after a long drive and lengthy border crossing, and I was frazzled. All of the staff at Chez Victoire were perfect - just the right mix of impeccable professionalism and friendly joviality that makes it clear that they are all experienced and well taught. The atmosphere was calm and warm, and the server's wine recommendations were spot on. Personally, I was disappointed in the menu, but that was because of my own dietary restrictions. As a pescatarian who can't eat raw oil and butter without a gallbladder, and as a human who detests the taste of smoke, there was really nothing I could eat here without asking far too much of the chef. I settled on a tomato salad that listed balsamic in the ingredients, but not olive oil. Being as hungry and tired as I was, I forgot to mention my sensitivity, so my ensuing days of illness were all my fault. What I tried of the salad was lovely, and my friend enjoyed his tuna tartare. Again, the wait staff seemed concerned that I wasn't eating much, and I'm sure they could have figured something out for me if I had spoken up. I despise being a fussy American when I travel, but I'm sure they would have been friendly and accommodating. I now know that French cuisine no longer works with my body, and I will not hesitate to speak up again. I want to thank the staff at Chez Victoire, however, for as lovely an experience as possible under the circumstances. You all do great work. If French food is your friend, you're going to love it here.
The food, service and location of this restaurant were all amazing. It can get crowded, so, getting a reservation is a good idea. You can do so pretty easily if you look at the restaurant information on Google maps. This place has a 3 course menu, and usually it has 3 or 4 options per course, and the menu changes every couple weeks or so. There are always gluten free options, and the servers are usually pretty knowledgeable about ingredients used. Servers are pretty nice, and the wine menu was great too
Our go to place to celebrate momentous occasions. The staff is always very charming and knowledgeable, sharing lovely paring suggestions, which is key when you have such an amazing selection of delicious food and drinks options. I would comment on the rest of the menu, but frankly we usually go in for the 4 course meal! The tartare, foie gras, mushroom risotto, it's all good! And for you vegetarians out there, there are definitely some delicious options on that 4 course menu as well. All of it beautifully complimented by the Lava-type chocolate cake. All around a great option! A warm thanks to the courteous staff for always making our moments with you enjoyable!
