Delicious Brunch & Drag Show The smoked salmon eggs benedict was delicious! Absolutely recommend. Mimosas of course are a must, chased by Tequila! The show is great entertainment with Queens ready to make your Brunch Fabulous! Don't forget to bring $5 bills for tips during shows to give performers. If you forget, ask waiter for tips to be added to your bill total. Have a great time!
The food was decent but the entertainment really did it for me. It was my first time going to a drag show and it was a blast! Vanessa Vanderpuss was very funny and the outfits were outstanding. I had the Caesar cocktail and smoked salmon eggs Benedict but I can’t remember how it was because I was so mesmerized by the drag queens. I would definitely visit again to see more shows!
Everyone there is so welcoming and inviting. I love how when you're greeted they call you "friend". Our server Ginger Spice is so absolutely sweet and pleasant to deal with and drag brunch was a gag. Will be back for sure.
First time here. The food was fantastic, the show was great very professional. Don't forget to bring cash for tipping the entertainers. Definitely going back
Sunday DRAG BRUNCH is such an amazing time to get connected with the community. Fabulous show with beautiful mixed drinks. Love the ambiance and support from the crowd. However, the portion of the brunch that me and my friends got wasn’t very fulfilling. Overall an amazing bar with friendly staff, would recommend to all my friends in Victoria.
Such a fun experience! great food, great vibes, amazing entertainment for the Saturday drag brunch. Our service was very good, and My breakfast sandwich was amazing - the bread was unreal. My only recommendation for them would to be to either get better coffee, or get a better coffee machine. It was just so so dark and bitter. For a restaurant that serves brunch, the coffee was very poor.
Incredible night at an incredible place. We went during the Tuesday drag night. The queens were awesome and memorable. The drinks were good and the Mac and cheese was tasty. Awesome music!
I had the pleasure of experiencing drag brunch at Vicious Poodle. Excellent staff, the food was great, and the performers were absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to go again. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience
My partner and I came in on a Saturday night and had a really not great time. The place was pretty dead so we sat at the bar hoping to connect with the bartender and locals sitting at the bar. We were continuously ignored despite multiple attempts to start conversations. We asked for a drink menu and they said the didn’t have any that they could make anything I wanted. I asked if he knew of a good cocktail with Empress Gin and they said they knew just the thing. The drink tasted like soap water. It was terrible and my partner ordered their usual and it was also not good and her glass visibly extremely dirty. We love supporting lgbt establishments when we travel but we’d never return and would not recommend to our friends if they were to visit the area.
I’ve had a lot of fun here with friends and feel bad really to even post this, but I’m also not sure how else to make the establishment aware: your sound system needs a serious adjustment. It is WAY too loud; when queens are on the microphones it is piercing and unintelligible. I have had to step outside for almost the entirety of drag shows because I can’t stand the noise, and have to yell to communicate with friends. I wouldn’t say I have sensitive ears either. Protecting your ears is important and I feel bad for the staff whose ears must be exposed to this level of sound for long durations. If you’re going to a show you’ll probably want to bring earplugs. I hope this gets addressed in the future because it’s kept me from going out a few times and I like the venue otherwise.
