Vibes Coffee Bar

Yummilicious! Had the mocha. Go here. Now. I don't know what people are saying about the mandatory tips, but we didn't have to pay any. We ordered 3 drinks, and it didn't take 5 minutes.

This is a great little spot! I'm so happy to have somewhere so close to home that makes an amazing cappuccino, and the fact that they serve Rosso coffee is a huge plus! They don't charge mandatory tips, at least if you're buying a cup of coffee. Can't speak to the fact if you get a bagel or other food, but we are lucky to have this in our neighbourhood!

When i heard that Evanston would finally have a community coffee shop, I was excited! However, with hours that don't work for a working person, it was difficult to try the place out. When i finally got around to trying this place, i was very disappointed. The atmosphere and decor of the place was adorable with crisp white open spaces, bold menu options and even a fireplace/book corner! What really brought down my personal rating of this place was the service, prices and quality. The barista barely smiled, barely engaged in conversation and gave off bad vibes overall. I ordered a latte and it was ok but the cost of a bland 12oz latte was hard to justify for nearly $7.

Stopped by for the first time excited to check it out. I gotta say I was a bit disappointed. The space was open, clean and bright. But it seems like if you enjoy Rosso coffee you'll enjoy the place but for me since I am the type to get a a chai or matcha latte I found the prices very high considering competition in the area, and the sizing of the cups. I think they also need more than a few food and baked good options. I can appreciate certain specialty drinks to be more expensive like the turmeric or beetroot but when I can normally get a matcha latte with almond milk for cheaper elsewhere it's hard to justify coming back sadly. Maybe its too early to judge out the gates but with Good Earth, Starbucks and Tim Hortons all within a close distance I hope this place can stick around !

Bad vibes altogether. The service was not the greatest and the barista did not seem to know what she was doing and was not very friendly. The baked goods looked stale and unattractive. Our drinks tasted awful and extremely watery, will not be going there again. On another note, the decor and equipment were quite modern and it’s unfortunate that the place does not measure up to that. Will not be reccomending.

Coffee was horrible. Tasted watery and my latte tasted like fish water. Took way too long to make 15 minutes wait. The 1 rating was for the decor. So disappointing. Mandatory tip? For what exactly?

Cute little cafe, nicely laid out and bright. Still very early after opening, so little selection for food. Very cheerful barista. In time I'm sure this will be a popular local hangout!

Great little spot for coffee with friends or getting some work done. Grab breakfast, lunch and snacks. Vegan options on the menu.

Such a nice quiet place. Thier mocha was very good. I will be back again for sure next time i am in the area.
