Via Rail

Travelled to Montreal. And from Montreal to Moncton.nGood affordable trip. 17+hrs travel time. Good for sightseeing while coming back from Montreal.nnAnd You may expect long halts if tracks are messed up. While returning from Montreal, there is long delays due to tree fallen on tracks. It delayed the trip by 5 hours. I spend 24.5hrs to reach Moncton from Montreal. Railway staffs are very helpful and kind.

Terminal doubles as Via Rail/Maritime bus station. Equipped with vending machines, though short walk to Sobey's and Shoppers Drug Mart if you are on foot during business hours. Easy access to public transit approximately 5 minute walk. Porter delivered my checked item to ensure it was not damaged in the baggage carousel. Great care.

Had an issue I was stressing out about, called via rail and Connor was so kind and helpful and resolved my issue quickly and with so much kindness!! So thankful and happy with the service!! Thank you times a million Connor!!!

The smell of urine in the washrooms is disgusting. Should be cleaned throughout the day. A lot of homeless in the station and see security guard do absolutely nothing. Definitely will be avoiding this station for travelling.
