Wow, the city they rips people off… so professionally leaves your with a terrible train station that needs serious renovations, some shops, some coffee shops - some life - lol
Thank you for running the cycling train! It allowed us to enjoy the Niagara area for the weekend in an environmentally friendly way.
We wait the train a 20 minutes over the time. But the experience was Good.
Straight forward place. Still looks like it did in 1975. The tracks from Niagara to Hamilton are so bad the train can't exceed 50km however. Station blends in to the City of Niagara perfectly though.
Small and crowded when waiting at the end of day to go back to the city. Their was no staff on weekday, late afternoon either which was super strange too. Also wish it was more clear on how to get to the falls from there with transit, taxi etc options clearly listed somewhere.
Needs some serious updating. This is a major station for anyone going to or leaving Niagara falls, and yet there's no AC in the building and no shelters on the tracks. Sad that the city of Niagara has that stupid tourist tax but doesn't put it towards their infrastructure
Was very good experience. The bad thing is that, as I am a stranger I was confused and kept asking a bout the train door and location. They announce the gate 5 min or 8 mins before departure so you need to be their and run once it is announced
Shame on Niagara Falls city council. Via rail Niagara along with Niagara Transit missing the mark terrible facilities customer service needs improvement no lockers for travellers. Travellers could do s stay over or till another time period and could use extra time to visit old city Niagara Falls or do a little downtown Sightseeing missing the mark on this one. Customers not spending .
For such a big tourist attraction, this station is nowhere close to the amenities. Very deserted even in the day time.
