First time I've been to the train station in years as I usually travel west from Fallowfield Station. The business lounge is very clean with ample seating in a variety of configurations. For a business lounge, the only snacks provided at 9 a.m. were coffee and juice. Fresh fruit or a granola bar would have been appreciated. However, once aboard the train to Quebec City, breakfast and lunch were delicious.
I love travelling by train. Whenever I go business class, I often come early to make use of the comfortable lounge at the Ottawa VIA station. Their cosy seating, good selection of pops and juices, as well as their machines that offer various coffee drinks and hot chocolate, make this lounge a nice place to relax before a trip.
I enjoyed my experience using VIA Rail for my return trip from Ottawa to Dorval. The online ticket purchase was easy, boarding and egress was quick, staff were friendly and the ride was comfortable. Furthermore I felt that travelling by rail was safer and more reliable during winter than a commute by air or by car.nnTravelling in business class is a treat with the nice comfortable lounges and dining experiences on board the train.nnIf you like my reviews, videos or photos toot toot the like button
This lounge is bright, modern, clean and spacious. Friendly staff at front desk to check you in and to notify you of your trains arrival. Lots of comfortable seating is available with ports for charging. There is free hot + cold beverages available. This is the perfect spot to relax before boarding the train.
The business class lounge is bright, modern and I love the coffee machines available to pour a fresh latte automatically with ease.nnThe new modern train for the adventure class looks superb and I hope VIA deploys fleets for business class going forward that look like the new trains because then I'll recommend them to all my friends and family because of how comfortable and fabulous it looks.nnDinner and breakfast service did not disappoint either.
