A beautiful remembrance to those who sacrificed their life for others. Well maintained, clean, and respectful. The picturesque setting, next to the lake, offered a quiet and comforting place to pay respect.
Beautifully kept up park that is a tribute to our Veterans with lovely views of the surrounding area.
I find the inscribed stone walls, the benches, the flag poles & the circular design great. It reinforces that the different military branches work together toward one cause, our safety and well-being. And looking west & north the setting's marvelous. I feel oppressed by the height though. The pillars & black metalwork are too much for me. When it was first built I felt the scale was too big, too tall. Now it's apparent we're not staying the quaint small town I moved to 25 years ago. If I'd wanted to live in condo land I'd have moved to the 'burbs. And I worry about the kids and the not-wealthy getting what they need to thrive in my newly overdeveloped community. Structures and upbringings are hard to reform once established. Can we pay attention to scale?
Nice little beach. $3 to swim. Paddle boat and kayak rentals at $15/hr
This is a beautiful Monument to All Veteran and all the armed services very well done with a beautiful view on the lake.
Absolutely beautiful if you're in the area stop by very well done pay your respects to our men and women who lost their life and served our beautiful country
I feel blessed to have found this little Park and proud that the people of this area have set forth the money and time to build it. It is a must-see
BEAUTIFUL architecture, amazing views. Great place for photos, especially during golden hour.
