They are competent. But it's a toss-up as to whether you will get a doctor and nurse who are compassionate and respectful or not.

It all depends with what Doctor is on shift. Sometimes you're given the doctor's undying attention and respect. But more consistently you're looked at, rushed out the door with zero answers, and a huge medical bill for 10 minutes of their time. There is alot of people that would rather drive the 30+ miles to La Crosse, then to take their chances at VMH EC and ER.
