Vernak's

Vernak's has catered our staff picnic now for 3 years in a row. They have really great food and do a wonderful job! We look forward to their interesting food selection every year. Thanks so much!

My wife and I tried Vernak's for the first time this past weekend and we will certainly be back. The food was very good, as was the service. The prices were quite reasonable as well. Vernak's will now be our go to place for pizza take-out and the like.

Wow what a hidden treasure. I was able to speak with the chef (there is no cook here ). They only openned a few weeks ago but I was totally impressed. For an appetizer I had fried calamari which was tender and crispy. For dinner I had a (simple) dish of penne with sauce and mozzarella -baked. This was anything but simple. The sauce is to die for and the mozz was so tasty (homemade? ) it just highlighted this wonderful meal. A good sized portion and low priced. They also have puzza, wings, subs,etc. Which are perfect for anytime. I'm from Rochester and I wish this hidden treasure was closer because I would be a regular. And added extra is the wonderfully friendly servers .

The Pharmacy staff are very hard to work with and unprofessional. I've been put on hold for long periods only to hear them laughing and cutting up. Scripts haven't been mailed on time. Bills that were mailed not able to be paid in the store when I have to pick up a script because they wait to long to mail it out. Generally don't seem truly able to do their job well. I've switched to Brewerton Pharmacy for my compounding and am much happier and they were able to help me with several scripts Vernak could not compound.
