Vern's Pizza

Had once from the McPhillips location like 10 years ago and it was delicious. Finally had it again from the new St Anne's location and it's just as good as I remember. The sauce instantly brought back flavour memories lol. Definitely going in my pizza rotation of favourite places to order. : Parking: It's in a little strip mall so not a lot of parking spots, but it's not a dine-in place so nothing you can hold against them.

We’d heard a lot of good things about Vern’s but were more than disappointed. The crust was soggy, the pepperoni tasted like the cheap no name stuff from Superstore deli, the sauce was so sweet and such a weird taste. We each had 1 piece of the giant, overpriced pizza and threw the rest in the garbage.

I went in for Pi day 3.14 - March 14 for a $3.14 slice deal. I waited 2 minutes at the counter , while a supervisor was belittling and berating a staff for pennies and nickles that the staff didn't get because if people cheepenning out on tips , and saying that would come out of the staff 's pay. Needless to say, I left , went elsewhere, and gave them my tip !

Have not had VERN'S since '96 2022 now That was in Saskatoon. VERN'S in Winnipeg definitely lives up to the reputation! AMAZING! By far my favorite pizza! And very curtious and efficient service! Definitely a second visit soon!

Tried Vern's for the first time as we like thicker pizza. I ordered the double double and it was good, however toppings were piled heavily in the center of the pizza and not evenly distributed throughout the pizza. There was a section of the pizza that the dough was slightly undercooked, however saving for leftovers was fine when reheated in toaster oven. I enjoyed the pizza however do not feel the quality was up to par with the price of the pizza. My wife ordered the chicken ranch, toppings were more evenly distributed however the dough in the center of the pizza was undercooked, still raw and goopy. 1 of the 2 pizzas was ok, but at the end of the day do not feel as if the quality lines up with the price. Will likely not be ordering from Vern's again.

Used to order from verns on a regular basis,to the point i was given a coupon for a free pizza , kinda forgot that i had the coupon so went in the other day to redeem it and was told that i couldn't use it as it said can expire at any time ??? So they can give u a coupon and say the next day its expired .if the pizza was still as good as i remembered it was going to start ordering it again but not now .

Pizza was decent, but we didn’t like the sweet sauce. Not worth the higher prices.

It's decent pizza. The crust tends to a bit mushy. I see what other folks mean about the toppings. It's not a very consistent bite.

Had the T-Rex. Best pizza in the city. If you haven't tried it yet....just do it. Be prepared to pay a little more but it is absolutely worth it
