Venice Pizzeria

A decent pizza place. Nothing unique or unusual about their menu. The pizza is good, not greasy, not stingy on the toppings. The only thing which makes them different would be that their toppings are cut rather large - a bonus if you like that, or a negative if you don't. It doesn't affect the taste at any rate.

Pizza: 8.5 Good price, 6.50 for "one slice" which is actually 2. Very filling, served warm, good variety of toppings, definitely a step up from any Fast Food pizza you can get in st John's. Other menu items: was surprised to find out that their fries are actually amazing, did not expect that from a pizza place. Putine is also good. Overall, you can expect everything on their menu to be served warm and in large portions. Overall experience: As someone who goes there a lot I have never had a bad experience with customer service, food is served quickly and the people working there are pretty chill. Only Con is that the store is not very big so there is not always places to sit, that's really only a problem in winter though since it is right next to Bannerman Park.

Good pizza, ordering over the phone can be frustrating. I find the employees could work on their manners. Other then that no complaints. A little expensiveFood: 4/5

Grabbed a poutine from here recently, and was pleasantly surprised they got rid of their styrofoam in favour of paper containers much healthier to eat out of. Venice does use fresh toppings unlike some places who try to cheap out with canned mushrooms. I find the crust here is unique in a good way, but eating too much gives me crazy heartburn. All in all, a good spot for pizza. Vegetarian options: They have veggie pizzas but you must order a whole pizza. They do not have it by the slice.

Venice has some of the best pizza in the city for sure. The people working there don't speak the best English, but there's a clear line of communication, and they're super friendly .Food: 5/5

$6.50 for 2 slices of pizza minimum order I guess, cause they call it a slice. I thought it was just one slice, but was very happy to see there were two!! I loved it. The best in town. Try their mozza sticks with marinara sauce.

I'm not sure if this is an isolated case, but the first time I ordered pizza from here I was very very disappointed. I had a lot of expectations because of all the good reviews. I ordered a jumbo Greek delight and the pizza seemed a little burnt, the crust was quite hard, the toppings were very tasteless and try, there was barely any pizza sauce and finally they gave very little cheese. Never ordering again. Had to finish the pizza because we all were very hungry.

It's OK. Standard pizza. Average price. Could be better, could be worse.Food: 3/5

Ok, that was AWESOME! I’ve eaten pizza on four continents, and that was the best crust I’ve ever had!! Crisp but not burnt, fluffy but not stodgy. Cheers, guys, thank you so much
