Venetian Blind Service Centre

Due to my rough yanking of a Hunter Douglas blind, it was no longer working properly. Venetian Blind Service repaired it very quickly i.e. after drop off, it was ready the next day & was reasonably priced. I was very happy with the service, repair done & the pleasant owner/employees. It's nice to support a family-run business with integrity in what they do. Thank you & I highly recommend them.

YES… I highly recommend this place! We had brought in our damaged double cellular blind, previously purchased via budget blinds, Canada Vancouver/Richmond office. The VBC staff were amazing in the restoration of the blind, to be fully functional again after repairing a broken string and slightly damaged bottom. The blind looks and operates like it’s brand new! We highly recommend this company for repairing your blinds… especially when the original seller offered ‘No After Sales’ Service’. Was so impressed…. I brought in a couple vertical vanes from my old living room blinds for measurements and purchased NEW Replacement vanes that look stunning & giving my living room a whole refreshed look! If I could…!I’d offer an extra half stars making my rating 5.1 !! Special thanks to both Duncan and Tom for their great service!

Have been here many times over the the last 16 years for cleaning and now a few repairs of the blinds in our apartment everything from shortening, restringing, recording, replacing slats. I think this is the only place in Vancouver that provides this service, and they turnaround really fast if you just want cleaning. It's in a central location, I can get there on transit if I need to. Every time I've done this I can't believe the great price for something that is saving me loads of time if you have *tried* cleaning aluminum venetian blinds you know what I'm talking about and keeps these in good repair. As someone here said already--they help us repair rather than throw away.

Don’t get your blinds cleaned here. I took two blinds in to be cleaned and repaired. One was cleaned and the other wasn’t cleaned at all. I sent an email with a picture of the dirty blind showing half that I cleaned when I got home with a little Fantastic and a rag, in 3 minutes and the dirty half. You can definitely see the difference in the photo. Their website says they remove dust, dirt, grime, mildew and nicotine. Here is a picture of what I received when I got the blinds back. I asked in my email if it was mistakenly missed by chance and they didn’t even have the nerve to answer my email. Not good service at all. Yes have your blinds repaired here but do not pay the price for the cleaning as they do a lousy job and do not own up to it.

Speedy, professional and patient! I dropped off 9 venetian blinds to the Venetian Blind Service Centre recently and was really impressed from beginning to end. They made it very easy to go through this entire process and made it clear that there would be a discount on my order because I had dropped off the blinds myself they also do pick-up service but I live very close. Living without blinds in your home can be a little intimidating so I was hoping for a speedy turnaround. They quoted me a pick-up time of 4:30PM the following day. Well, I got a call at 9:15AM the next morning and was told it was ready to go! It might not seem like much, but when you live on the ground floor of an apartment, it's DEFINITELY appreciated to have the blinds back ASAP so that you don't feel like everyone is staring at you while walking by. I mentioned they were patient -- After I picked-up my very clean! blinds, I didn't realize one of them was quite unique in length. I couldn't figure out where it was supposed to go so I called them wondering if they had given me the wrong blind. They helped me resolve my issue more or less waiting until the Eureka moment occurred when I realized my foolish mistake and were pleasant all the way through. Thanks again!

We just had our blinds replaced for the patio door. Neil is so great at what he does - he took perfect measurements and had great suggestions to match the rest of our blinds. The installation process was well performed. Super wonderful, friendly and professional. I highly recommend Venetian Blinds. Thanks for such a great job!

The venetian blinds were not tilting, they came and did a lousy job that lasted 1 day. The hook they added is broken and I have to tllt them by hand. They are not answering my emails

Great service from Venetian Blind and highly recommended! Got in touch via email and received a quote for a re-cord and arranged a service call in the middle of the holidays on short notice. They came to pick up the blinds and returned a week later to reinstall - low effort on our part, the price was very reasonable and the blinds work perfectly now The technician Tam was fantastic and knowing we are set to move soon also made sure to get back out to us as scheduled despite the snow. Excellent service all around.

I recently had my venetian blinds cleaned and repaired. They did a great job! Can't really comment on the price because I didn't shop around. But the price seems reasonable. Also, the technician was on time and very pleasant on both trips. I absolutely recommend this service.

I just keep dropping off my up and down cellular blinds for repair they are good quality but old and they keep repairing. Re stringing, cleaning for a reasonable price. They have touched every one in the house now. Nothing wrong with service or pricing.
