I was completely blown away by Arie's incredible menu! Such an amazing variety of items and more to be added. My meat eating hubby was just as surprised at the taste and quality of food. The first time I have heard him tell his friends to "Go try this vegan restaurant!" He had the Gyro the first time and the "Hot Mess" burger the second. He said it was the best he's ever had. I had the Cheesy Philly sub and the gyro the next. We took home the baklava and spanakopita - both equally delicious! Cannot wait to go back!
Every bite will will leave you wanting more. The menu is diverse from cheese fries, steak n cheese sandwhiches to gyros and souvalaki. But hands down, they got the best Greek food in town. Can't wait to go back. Super friendly staff as well.
My partner and I were so happy to finally try this place and it definitely did not disappoint. They even exceeded our expectations! They boast a huge menu and everything we ordered was full of flavour, had perfect texture and generous portions. They even let your pup sit next to you inside! To top it off, service was impeccable. You MUST give this place a try. You won’t regret it.
This is the only vegan Greek restaurant in Montreal. Located in the West Island, it was absolutely worth the 25 minute drive. My fiancé and I shared the Pikilia platter, a vegan goat pita plate and a kofta pita. We came hungry and left stuffed! Every was so delicious, we loved the tzatziki so much that we bought 2 containers to use at home. Oh and can’t forget about the baklava! Served warm and delicious. The owner and staff are great, very friendly and make you feel at home. Give this place a try, you’ll be glad you did! I can’t wait to go back to try out some of their other menu options!
One of a kind, truly THE place to visit Authentic fresh Greek vegan deliciousness The pictures speak for themselves but nothing beats checking it out yourself from the warm modern allure of the place to great service and hosting, you'll feel right at home and enjoy some of the best food out there all fresh and made with lots of love! Can't go wrong

Everybody will be satisfied with the quality and taste of the food here. Worth the trip to the West-Island. Vegetarian options: 100% Plant-Based Vegan. The Vegan Meats and Cheeses are to die for. Kid-friendliness: Menu is very kid friendly. Kids can get the Pogo's Corn Dogs, Chicken Nuggets or the Popcorn Chicken. Parking: This cozy little restaurant is tucked away in a residential area and Parking is available in front, on the side and on the street. Wheelchair accessibility: Located at street level and the chairs can be moved to accommodate a wheelchair. Wheelchair accessible bathroom. Dietary restrictions: 100% Plant-Based Vegan, but you would never know it as everything looked and tasted like the original versions. Nut Free Soy based Tzatziki is the BOMB!
Absolutely delicious. Well deserved 5 stars! Friendly caring family business. The shiitake lamb pita is my favourite. I’ll order it every time we go! My 3 year old daughter who doesn’t usually eat much at restaurants really loves the feta wrap. The tzatziki is so flavourful and perfect! Thank you for a great experience.
What a charming gem. All the vegan eats we and friends have ordered are hearty and savoury. Two of my favourites are the kofta and baklava. The owner and staff make you feel welcome and at home. Top-five in Montreal.
Was delicious. Had the soy gyro pita, very similar to the meat version. Greek potatoes was delicious and not oily, and tzatiki was also on point. Finished the meal with baklava..Will be back soon to try the "chicken" gyro.
This spot has been on the have to try list for so long. Vegan spots come and go in Montreal as it's a very tough market to sustain in comparisons for places like LA where residents there have accepted meat free society as much as the norm. Located in one of Montreal's West Island Suburbs, Veganarie offers a variety of meat imitation, Greek inspired dishes, from traditional dolmades to veganized Gyros. We were greeted by the owner Arie where the name Veganarie comes from who was very welcoming and took the time to explain any dish we were less familiar with. We quickly saw patrons come in and knew the owner well from mostly frequenting this spot more often. We waited for the food with excitement. The presentation was superb and the food was so tender; something which we don't often say about vegan meat imitations. We ordered the gyros and the popcorn chicken in a cone. The gyros were dressed with vegan tzatziki sauce and the pop chicken with apple maple and wrapped in a savory cone. The decor was in a quinte rustic barn setting to resemble nature. The charming traditional greek music really places you the feeling you are in a greek restaurant. The place is small, but as the business grows, we expect a larger sitting area to feel less claustrophobic. Another caveat was that this place is only open after 4pm everyday, making the option to order lunch a bit absolute. Again, we think this is due the business is relatively new and vegan spots are scared with opening hours in general making it hard for someone craving vegan food wanting to eat out at their convenience. Food: Price: $$ vegan food is typically a bit more pricy, we were still hungry when we left and should have ordered a second serving if gyros Service: Ambiance: we strongly believe this can improve with time Location: not super hard to get to, but not in a popular area. The parking is also limited if ever this place gets crowded As the business grows we have no doubt the location and ambiance will improve, on the plus side if you are craving delicious vegan greek food and be welcomed with open arms, come to Veganarie, delivery option available. Vegetarian options: Vegan food Parking: Limited parking spot Dietary restrictions: Vegan food
