VCI CONTROLS Inc. specializes in building technologies and services that improve comfort, safety, energy efficiency, and occupant productivity. VCI is an industry leader in the development of intelligent building technology, including the integration of all building systems utilizing the latest in communications technology and standards such as BACnet and LonMark.

VCI also offers a comprehensive suite of mechanical HVAC services.
Our licensed HVAC technicians have the advantage of working with our BAS control technicians to gain a complete understanding of a building, resolving a complex customer issue with just one call.

Since our pioneering days of developing DDC technologies beginning in 1979, we continue to lead the industry in new product development. Our systems have been installed in very large and complex buildings including the National Art Gallery of Canada, the RCMP complex in Ottawa, and Canadian Forces Base, Halifax, and the Billy Bishop Airport in Toronto. The value of VCI’s project base exceeds $100,000,000.

Through our partnership with Dimax Controls, and equipped with our VCI-Dimax Performance Monitoring service, we are able to monitor real time the utility meters and key BAS data in a building. Our expert team makes sense of this data, and by applying advanced web tools can make recommendation that save from 5% to 15% of a facilities energy spend without capital expenditure.

VCI is a 100 percent owned and operated Canadian company with headquarters in Toronto and branch offices in Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax and Pembroke. Each branch office is self-contained and operates as a business within the business yet has the advantages offered from a central support group, including an R&D team. Each office provides a full range of support inclusive of 24-hour service and stocking of service spares.
