Came here with average expectations and they were really not met. The upstairs is usually packed with people and has only round tables with chairs. The downstairs literally looks like an old dusty dump of furniture and broken arcade games and judging by the amount of dust and crumbs down here it wouldn't surprise me to find out that there's bugs in here. Considering they charge cover on every head and equipment rentals, they should be able to put together a space that is cleaned at least somewhat regularly and doesn't have everyone else's Cheeto dust underneath your feet. Considering the location, this place has potential but the rating on this business is extremely overrated. Really unimpressed.
My friend and I came here to hang out for a few hours and it wasn't busy or anything at all. I enjoyed the TV's and vaporizers there but the vaporizer sits on top of the cable box right where the venting is. We decided to gently bring the wire closer to the coffee table where we were sitting and the girl at the front desk gave us so much unreasonable amounts of attitude. It was if we broke the machine or "stripped the wire". I get that everybody has a bad day but that was straight up unacceptable. The girl could've easily kindly explained the rules of the place and told us not to do it again instead of berating us. Complete garbage. I'll take my money elsewhere and wouldn't recommend it to be honest. The place isn't even on the lake, what a joke.
Says its closed but not too sure for how long. Used to be a very chill place to hang out with some great people. Loved to glassware shop next door too but not too sure if that is there either lol. Times change and people do to...they are probably going to shut down all the vapor lounges as it gets closer to legalisation
DO NOT GO!! Very misleading. No food servedI'm smoking bud, definetaly gonna be hungry.There was no booths to chill with your group with privacy. Was very poorly arranged, and have nothing to offer. No edibles, there was a five dollar entry fee and it was nothing I couldn't do in my garage. I would not recommend this lounge to anyone. Simply dirty with nothing to offer the smoker, to make for a good experience. Will no be back!!
Chill environment. You're able to rent bongs and use the vaporizers. Comedy on Monday and Friday nights are great! Also bringing video game systems to play on their tvs makes for great fun as well. I recommend it for all cannabis smokers living or visiting Toronto.
The girl with the brown hair that works in the evenings on Tuesdays is such an ungly soul. Rude, emotionless, and condescending. I've been coming here for a few years and I have never been so pissed at the service or lack there of by the only person working. She clearly hates the job, I'm unsure as to why she is still here. Only coming back when the sweet blonde is here
Used to go here a lot in grade 12 that was 3--4 years ago. It was so much fun when we first discovered it and would go there every weekend. Considering I live in sauga. But now that its closed I go to a vapelounge in brampton.!!
Despite the fact that the place was nearly empty, the woman working there was not attentive to my friends and I and was even often rude to us. She took a very long time with setting up the vape that we rented which had a missing piece to hold the bowlpiece and was very condescending even in explaining how to use it. She lectured us for minor things that any person could have casually explained, such as moving two tables together, walking near a tv, and sitting next to a speaker. She even forgot to return our IDs which were held as collateral after we returned the vape. Good concept for a spot but that one person was a huge buzzkill, probably would not come back.
Comedy shows are HILARIOUS! Sports on a giant screen. New games room on the lower level. Friendly staff. Great place to hang with your buds.
Vape on the Lake is an awesome place to smoke weed and socialize. Don't forget to catch their comedy show "Jokes on the Water" every Monday. If your in Toronto its a must visit!
