We had Vanilla Sugar Bakery make our wedding cake and they did such a great job! They were very responsive to email and the cake came looking exactly as discussed. It was delicious and beautiful! Very affordable, as well. Delivery was on time and without any issues. Would recommend!
Vanilla Sugar Bakery is absolutely wonderful. My husband and I had a small Covid wedding, and opted to get a basic cake and just use it as a wedding cake. They had it ready for us early, and it looked and tasted wonderful! Everyone loved it, and we will definitely be back to try more tasty treats when things get back to normal in the world.
This is the second year, that my daughter ordered the Banoffee cake for my birthday. It is the BEST cake, that I have ever had in my 77 years. There are different flavor profiles to the cake; banana, toffee and coffee. With each bite you experience a different flavors. I told my daughter, that was all, that I wanted for my birthday, so she ordered a 9" cake. I brought home 3/4 of the cake, which is now stored in my freezer to enjoy over the next month or so. Thank you ladies, for being such an outstanding bakery! Now I look forward to my birthdays!
This place is just amazing! They have great creative flavors and also do a great job with the basic ones! Never had a bad cupcake from there. The only annoying thing is you have to pre order.
First, the cupcakes were absolutely delicious. We got a variety and loved every single one of them. Second, I failed to check what time they close on the day I scheduled for the pickup. When I called in a panic - 10 minutes after they had already technically closed - someone actually answered and said they would be there for a bit longer and that I could still come pick my order up. I rushed to the shop and they were super friendly, despite me probably being a total inconvenience. It was my daughter’s first bday party so this was a really special order, and I’m just thankful they were so cool about everything. Now I’m eyeing out their cakes for our next event as they look absolutely beautiful online.
Bought a half dozen Paczki today. The banana cream was delicious but my two custard filled ones were both missing the custard. I guess it was just an oversight. Thank You for all your amazing treats.
"Excellent Bakery and Extremely Talented Baker/Decorator" ! I have ordered cakes now several times, Macaroons, Brownies, and Cupcakes are absolutely fantastic. When I tell my friends and family where the dessert is from - everyone is ridiculously anxious to skip dinner, and let's just go for the dessert. Vanilla sugar is basically an hour from my home - I am most happy to go out of my way to purchase from Vanilla Sugar. It is by far one of the best bakeries that I know of. There are many where I live - but this one is "THE BEST' !!!!!!! Obviously - VERY STRONGLY RECOMMEND......
I Ordered a simple navy ombré lemon cake it looked nice, however the flavor was super artificial. I’ve never tasted such granulated frosting. I don’t know if they were having an off day, but it we had to toss the cake it was so bad!
I emailed them regarding a cake for a baby shower two weeks in advance. After going back and forth via email I decided to call to clarify some of the questions I had. The woman on the phone was short and acted as if I was bothering her with questions. The final quote for a 12” cake with zero decoration just writing on top was $160. That’s outrageous. And on top of that, they could only guarantee the cake ready at 12pm on the day of the party, not 10:30am because the were “booked” that morning. Wouldn’t that be information to give someone up front? They also couldn’t do a cake with cream cheese frosting on the outside. Really? I have never heard of that considering my wedding cake had cream cheese frosting. Glad we aren’t going with them.
Great coffee spot! We love chatting and enjoying the goodies. Cinnamon rolls are to die for, call to find out when they'll have them! Their house made caramel is the best I've ever had. Cupcakes are creative, and the cookie bars are always good.
