Don't expect clean restrooms or play equipment. And I also wouldn't recommend asking the host to do any cleaning either! Got my head bit off for asking for the bathrooms to be cleaned once and we have been here 4 days already. Plus she declined the cleaning service. Try Krystal campground in Vassar! Playground: There's swing set, which have bird poo on every swing, a side and a basketball court.

Spent the weekend and had a great time. The couple that run the place were awesome and very helpful. Don't get that a lot anymore. Definitely coming back!!

How much is a load of wood? $10 is what I was told 2 days before we camped. The same person charged me $20!!! I immediately knew she was up charging me! I decided to ask other campers what they were charged and they only had to pay $10! It ruined my time there. I already had to drive my payment 45 miles two days before we were coming. I emailed the person and still haven't heard from anyone. That is why I am putting this out there. Beware

Lovely from the hosts to the property! We found this gem by accident and we are so glad that we did. The grounds are green and plentiful. The trees are grand and well tended. It’s quiet and walkable. It was just what we needed after a mix up at another campground. No showers yet, but they’re growing and headed in the right direction with plentiful, new picnic tables, a large pavilion, swing sets and a simple park bathroom. I highly recommend this place and hope that it thrives. Come for some peace and quiet topped with shade from its graceful trees. Plus, our site with few neighbors, power and water was $24.00. The host is a very bitter person. Went to pay to park they had envelopes to put money in. While doing this she ripped open door snatched it from my hands and botched cause I wasted envelope.. if it wasn't for good fishing in area I wouldn't give this place a dime

For some reason they allow lights on after 10pm. It is literally 1 am and I cannot sleep because there is a light right outside my tent. And watch for ant hills if tenting and bring bug spray, there are tons of mosquitos summer time.

Its an alright access for ice fishing but is usually sketchy, but what isn't sketchy about ice fishing? We need alot more places like this its to bad the state has made it so very difficult for facilities like this to be managed profitably. It really wouldn't take much to make parks like this much better. There once was a great forest acrossed this state and with inteligent planning and fair oversight, one could rise again. Sad that it won't happen in this lifetime. Even sadder to think of all the wildlife that once thrived. This small park is a pale shadow of the environments that existed here 300 or 400 years ago. Much more pleasure could be had by all if not for the greed and wreckless waste of humananity.

Really nice .. Very clean always taking good care off.. Them folks do a great job .. close fishing spot . really good play ground for kids . horse shoe pits also . plus they have picnic area with grills ;
