We recently enjoyed our first performance at The Improv Center. Wow! What a fun evening with lots of laughs. We saw “Galentine” - a talented cast, cozy and welcoming theatre; all around a fun night out. Definitely recommended. We’ll be back!
Absolutely 5 stars! We took a group of high school students who were in Vancouver on a band trip. The Improv Centre did some prep ahead of time and tailored the show to our band complete with jazz songs and jokes. The kids had a fantastic time. 100 percent would recommend!
We had a hilarious, enjoyable night here! We attended TheatreSports and loved the show! Highly recommended for good, light-hearted fun. The location is cool right on Granville Island. You can purchase snacks and drinks to take in the theatre which is a great touch! Highly recommended!
nnThe Improv Centre is one of the best “easy yes” nights out in Vancouver.nnWe went for a live improv show and had a blast—smart, fast, and genuinely funny without feeling forced or awkward. The performers were sharp, the pacing was great, and the audience interaction stayed fun not cringe. You can tell they’ve done this a lot—the whole experience feels polished but still spontaneous.nnThe venue is intimate in a good way: there isn’t a bad seat, it’s easy to get settled in, and the energy in the room makes the laughs contagious. It’s also a perfect pre- or post-dinner stop on Granville Island.nnTickets were reasonably priced around the low $20s, and it felt like great value for a full night of entertainment. If you’re visiting Vancouver or you live here and want a reliable comedy option, put The Improv Centre on your list.
Great improv cast. I have been a couple times now and they don't disappoint. If you never been to improv I highly recommend checking it out. If you have been to improv before, I would encourage you to check these performers out. It's a great venue. No bad seats in the house.
