Must know what $$ is acceptable. I've been thrifting at VV for 20+ years - with the high volume of random cheap brands hitting the racks, sometimes a good clearance at an actual store for a new item is cheaper than the climbing prices within these walls. For the effort the team puts in- Bravo. I've had pleasant and helpful staff with stores well maintained. Still a happy adventure spot to browse for treasures. Always ready to walk out empty too, as the thrift odds deem! Stop in if you pass one. Seniors enjoy 30% Tuesday. Join their Savers club for bonus $$.
Personel is friendly and efficient. The price on one of my items was missing. They replaced the price within a minute or so. Taking care of the client is definitely priority. I definitely recommend you visit this place. It has a great selection in most sections. My son and I found what we needed. Prices are decent and self checkout is fast and very little wait. Check it out for yourself!
Nice staff at this location and it's usually pretty busy so it's a bit of a challenge to keep it tidy and organized. Some customers just drop items on the top of racks or the floor so staff have to constantly clean up after them.nThis location seems a bit more high priced than another location so one has to really check for good bargains.
The prices at this store give me loose stools.nnOnce upon a time, this location sold rose bowls full of broken or crap jewellery for $9.99 regular junk or $34.99 sparkly junk.nnMost of it was garbage, but I'd occasionally find a few ok pieces to glue to my car or apartment walls that made them worthwhile. When the contents sucked, which was often, it wasn't the end of the world because it was only the price of a cheap lunch $9.99 or a fancy McDonalds lunch $34.99.nnLast time I was at this location, the $9.99 jewellery rose bowls were now $29.99 and full of totally unusable junk that even my Dad wouldn't glue to his car.nnThere was another terrible looking one for something like $50 or $60.nnThey are significantly more money and far worse quality than before.nnI could literally hand pick a bunch of wearable jewellery off the wall for cheaper and at least I'd know whether or not it smelled like cigarettes.nnAlso, the floors are covered in sticky stuff that stays there for weeks at a time, and the children's toy isle looks like a war zone.nnThe jewellery used to lure me in to buy other items, but there's no point going there anymore.
Over priced ....it's supposed to be a place where you can go to get a discount but instead you find things that are from the dollar store and other places; and you look at prices of the items and value village is charging you quadruple if not more. And all the items they sell are donated. The worst part is that value village does NOT support any non profit. In other words they do NOT support any local or non local charities. They keep all the profits to themselves. 2 thumbs down to these scam artists.
