I've been going here for years and they have gotten ridiculously cheap., up to the point BLOGTO covered THIS location for doing shifty stuff. I tried to buy a book today previously priced at 3$ from salvation army the price was on it the rack said under 4.99 cover price is 2$ they tried to charge me 7 for it that was 4$ over the last buyer WHO ALSO THRIFTED IT. . Go to any other thrift store in the area they have better prices and quality.
Love thrift shops. But like many of the Value Villages, the individual in charge of pricing is out of touch. LP records are priced at $5.99! At Kops Records an actual record store. The same records can be found outside for .10 cents -.25 cents. And they are in better shape. Occasionally one can find a decent record at value village but I guarantee you are likely going to find that same record in better shape for the same price at Kops. The picture I have included is just to show the type of record and price you will pay. If this was an actual scratched up Elton John record, it might be priced higher.
This is a huge store with lots of customers and a wide selection. I found the prices unjustified and not particularly logical; same price for objects new or old, big or small. Also, there was quite a line up- why not have more cashiers? The store is not well organized. I was looking for used music instruments for my students and was told to go to the furniture section, which was a mess of dirty-looking piles of disorganized trash.
Big space with lots of items. I found some nice things for a decent price. I disliked that most of their shoes they are selling are quite dirty and worn but I just avoid the shoe section and focus on other items in the store. I also got an email with a discount code that really helped with my last purchase. And the staff were very friendly, helpful and very efficient. I will shop here again very soon.
A few days ago i bought this sweatpants for $18, i get home realizing there’s no adjustable lace for it, their PRICES have gone up for ALL items they get for FREE & low quality. Used items shouldn’t sell “as new”, Its suppose to be a thrift shop. They’re close to prices of H&M, Walmart, Joe’s etc…
