Yesterday I experience the single excellent customer service from a young man named Evo. He is new to this store but what a kind courteous person he is. I hope he stays here and is an asset to this horrid store. Most of bitter women there are unhelpful and condescending.nI am regular value village customer and I am often shocked by the lack of customer service skills of the staff.
It has been many years since I stepped into a Value Village store.nI was looking for white wine glasses and did I find them? You betcha, exactly what I had in mind.nI asked this friendly lady at the front if I could leave these 2 glasses with her so I wouldn't shatter them, of course she says, and positively comment on my find.nI have never seen a cleaner store, more organized and equipped with so many friendly helpful staff.nAm I really in a Value Village store? I sure was and I certainly will go back as I know I will find a lot more treasures.nIt was such an uplifting experience, especially after all the crazy lockdowns and mandates.nThere was just one wee negative part to all this, the cashier made no attempt at all to wrap my very fragile purchase. I stood there waiting but she was quickly attending to the next customer even though it wasn't busy at all.nI waited and then asked her if she would please wrap them as the paper was right there at her fingertips.nThere is always room for improvement in an otherwise very cost efficient outlet.
Love this value village! The employee Neeysa is so awesome!! She helped me find all the things I needed and is a super nice person. Definitely recommend going here just for her!!!
I went to value with my grandpa and bought some stuff, Angie, which is a racist, wish I was joking but I’ve been to this store multiple times and has seen how she treated people different due to ethnicity. Double checked our items “make sure we weren’t stealing” and then when I asked for a senior discount she ignored me and walked away. I confronted her and told her I thought it was rude and she straight up told us she had to double check our tags and thought we were stealing and confirmed she did ignore us. 0/10 service
This place is trash! Prices are way out to lunch! They are charging $99 for a single vinyl record! Taking advantage of peoples ignorance and hoping to gouge people. Absolutely disgusting.nnI thought this place was a place where you could go and get good deals That things were priced fairly and at a heavy discount.nnI feel sorry for anyone who purchases from this place.nnGo to Salvation Army or other local thrift stores.nnShame.
