It was mostly positive. Staff was super friendly, except for one curmugeon with a permanent scowl who used her cart as a battering ram.nI must add my observations on pricing:n• inconsistent - vastly different on identical, same brand, itemsn• overpriced - damaged items priced far too high for their conditionn• absurd - unused items priced higher than the original retail ticket price *see pic of one example I saw yesterday.
I needed a single serving blender, the ones here were $8.99 and gross. I bought a new one for $14.nAlso why are dog bowls $26?? This stuff is donated for free.
This specific store was one of my top favorites and after moving away, I recently stopped in to take a peek and I felt overwhelmed, as it was cluttered and unorganized.nYes they had a ton of items, but it was like they just shoved things where ever.nHopefully they make some changes because that took any thrill of thrifting.
I had a donation to drop off and was greeted by a very pleasant and helpful staff member. He expressed a most sincere thanks for my items and made me feel special. Thank you.
Shade was so helpful, informative and patient! An excellent worker there at Value Village! It is such a great store to find children's clothes, books and more! We found everything we were looking for and more!
